Wimbledon Women's Singles Semifinals Best Bets, Picks & Predictions, feat. Gauff vs Muchova & Kostyuk vs Noskova
There is going to be a first-time Wimbledon champion on the women’s side. In fact, there are also going to be 2 first-time Wimbledon finalists. A relatively surprising semifinal lineup features Coco Gauff vs Karolina Muchova and Marta Kostyuk vs Linda Noskova. Although no one’s appearance in the semis is shocking to the extent of Arthur Fery in the men’s draw, none of these women rank in the top 6 in the world. Let’s take a look at the Wimbledon best bets to be made on Day 11 at the All-England Club, as we target the women's singles semifinals on Thursday, July 9.
Wimbledon best bet: Marta Kostyuk ML over Linda Noskova (-118)
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing. Playable to -135.
Kostyuk has been scorching hot dating back to the start of the clay-court swing in April. She is 21-1 in her last 22 matches, coming out on the short end only against eventual French Open champion Mirra Andreeva in the semis of that tournament. The 24-year-old Ukrainian has lost only 2 sets this fortnight and most recently trounced 2024 runner-up Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday.
Noskova is also playing well; there's really nothing bad to say about her. However, the 21-year-old Czech played a more difficult quarterfinal on Wednesday (a 6-3, 7-5 defeat of Elise Mertens) and has been pushed to 3 sets twice – including to a 3rd-set super-tiebreaker that she won 11-9 against Sorana Cirstea. Noskova also has less experience than Kostyuk on this kind of stage. It’s her first Grand Slam semi, as she has previously advanced past round 4 of a slam only once. Kostyuk won their only previous meeting in straight sets (this spring in Madrid) and should have the upper hand once again in the rematch.
Wimbledon best bet: Coco Gauff vs Karolina Muchova Over 5.5 service breaks (-110)
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing. Playable to -125.
The over on service breaks is almost always the play when Gauff is involved since she is one of the best returners on the WTA Tour, but also a double-fault machine. This semifinal matchup against Muchova is no exception. In 7 previous head-to-head contests, 6 of them have seen Gauff and Muchova break each other at least 6 times. Just once have they stayed under this 5.5 quota.
Their 2026 Miami Open matchup produced 7 service breaks, even though it lasted a grand total of only 14 games. Gauff has broken her opponents 23 times through 5 rounds of her Wimbledon run while dropping her own serve 12 times.
