Wimbledon Best Bets, Picks & Predictions for Tuesday, June 30, 2026
The other halves of the Wimbledon singles draws will take the court on Tuesday. Iga Swiatek gets the traditional spot on Centre Court for the women’s defending champion, while Serena Williams – yes, Serena Williams – and Elena Rybakina are also in action. On the men’s side, Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton are kicking off their fortnights.
Let's take a look at the best bets to be made on Day 2 at Wimbledon.
Parlay: Ben Shelton ML over Otto Virtanen and Jakub Mensik ML over Toby Samuel (-119)
Shelton and Mensik are serious contenders to reach the Wimbledon final in the half of the bracket opposite Jannik Sinner. Shelton, the #4 seed, reached the Wimbledon fourth round in 2024 and the quarterfinals in 2025 – only stopped by Sinner on both occasions. Mensik reached the semifinals at Roland Garros earlier this month and should be even better on grass than he is on clay. Virtanen is dangerous, but he has won only a single main-draw match at Wimbledon in his entire career – and just 2 at all 4 majors combined. Samuel's price is inflated in a big way by his recent semifinal performance in Eastbourne. Keep in mind, however, that he needed a lucky-loser spot in the main draw, got a first-round bye and then beat 2 clay-court specialists.
Marcos Giron ML over Corentin Moutet (-130)
Moutet is a borderline automatic fade at the moment. The Frenchman is 1-8 in his last 9 matches and has not won back-to-back matches since March – and that was at a Challenger event. He has not won back-to-back matches on the main tour since the Australian Open – and 1 of those victories came via retirement. Moreover, Moutet has never advanced past the second round of Wimbledon. Giron may not be on fire right now, either, but he is certainly playing well enough to take advantage of a struggling opponent. The American won their most recent meeting at the Phoenix Challenger earlier this year and should take this one, as well. Giron has won 5 consecutive first-round matches at Wimbledon.
Emma Navarro -2.5 games over Paula Badosa (+100)
Navarro inspires plenty of confidence on grass. The American advanced to the quarterfinals in 2024 and to the fourth round last year. She looks poised for more success in 2026 following a trip to the Nottingham final prior to beating Swiatek en route to the Bad Homburg quarterfinals. Badosa, on the other hand, cannot be trusted given her physical struggles in recent seasons. She is toiling away down at #141 in the rankings. The Spaniard is just 2-2 on grass so far this summer and withdrew from Bad Homburg, so she arrives at the All-England Club as a significant question mark.
