Detroit Tigers vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 04/25/26

The Detroit Tigers are posting some daunting splits when playing at home compared to on the road. The Tigers are tied for the top wRC+ rating (130) and post the top-rated xwOBA mark when playing at home, but those numbers drop to the bottom of the league with a 88 wRC+ on the road. They’ll face Reds starter Brady Singer (5.32 ERA, 1.65 WHIP) on the mound, a right-handed veteran that’s allowed only 4 ER over the course of back-to-back quality starts following a few rough outings to begin the year. 

With the Tigers offensive woes on the road and Singer having statistically the best bullpen in baseball ready to relieve him with a 2.54 combined ERA as a unit, this is an ideal spot to fade Detroit’s bats in a spot they’ve struggled in all season. Detroit starter Jack Flaherty (3.47 ERA, 1.49 WHIP) is a bit of a wild card, but currently sits below league average in xERA, pitching run value and chase rate while posting one of the highest walk rates among starting pitchers (7.71 BB/9). With all things considered, I’ll back Cincinnati to get the win at home.
