Pittsburgh Pirates vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 04/25/26

Game 2 of this series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers will be played on Saturday evening in Milwaukee. The Pirates had a commanding 6-0 victory in game 1 on the back of Paul Skenes who pitched seven perfect innings. The Brewers are now riding a three-game losing streak coming into Saturday’s game. We are in for another good pitching matchup as Mitch Keller and Jacob Misiorowski are projected to get the starts for their respective teams. Despite the good starting pitching, I will not let it scare me away from the fact that both of these teams have been scoring a lot of runs early on this season. They are both tied for 7^th in the MLB, averaging 5.0 runs per game. They also are both averaging more than 4.0 runs against per game.

With a low game total of 7.5, weighted heavily based on the starting pitching matchup, I think this matchup has the ability to go over that total.
