We have a 12-game NBA slate to work with on Wednesday, highlighted by an ESPN-televised showdown between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers (10:00 pm ET). Milwaukee, Indiana, Minnesota, Phoenix and the Clippers are also among those taking the court. Below is my NBA mega parlay for tonight’s action, and also be sure to check out all of our NBA picks.

Timberwolves -9.5 alternate spread (+135)

Clippers -3.5 (-110)

Heat ML (+180)

NBA parlay odds: +1156

For this NBA parlay, we are going with 2 favorites against the spread (1 on an alternate number) and an underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Minnesota Timberwolves -9.5 alternate spread over New Orleans Pelicans (+135)

The Timberwolves are coming off a rare loss, having succumbed at New York 112-106 on Monday. However, they are still 24-8 and lead the Western Conference. It’s also worth noting that Minnesota is an amazing 14-1 at home compared to a much more modest 10-7 on the road. Needless to say, this is going to be a tough test for the Pelicans. They have won 3 in a row overall, but all of those came at home and now they return to a setting where they lost by 21 points to the T-Wolves on November 8. There really isn’t any reason to think that things will change a whole lot on Wednesday. Anthony Edwards (26.3 ppg) is still on fire with 44, 31 and 35 points in his last 3 games. Karl-Anthony Towns is also averaging more than 21 ppg and Rudy Gobert is contributing significantly on both ends of the floor, as was the plan when Minnesota acquired him from Utah. Don’t be surprised if the home team wins by double-digits.

Los Angeles Clippers -3.5 over Phoenix Suns (-110)

The Clippers lost this matchup in the playoffs last year, but now they appear to be title contenders while the Suns are barely surfacing above .500. Following a shaky start to the James Harden era, the Clips have found their groove and have now won 12 of their last 14 games. As for Phoenix, the health — or lack thereof – of its star-studded roster has prevented them from developing chemistry on the court. Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker have played just 4 games together in 2023-24. Tonight, the Suns will be missing Durant for a second straight game, as he tends to a hamstring issue. This is team still dangerous even without him, but defense is always a problem and the void left by Durant’s scoring may make it difficult to keep up with the high-powered Clippers. Los Angeles has been an offensive juggernaut of late, posting an average of 121.7 points per game across the last 16 outings. Look for L.A. to win and cover.

Miami Heat ML over Los Angeles Lakers (+180)

Miami is a considerable underdog in this one, but there are injury concerns for both teams and that generally levels the playing field in any matchup (if, in fact, guys are missing). The Heat will definitely be without Jimmy Butler, who is sidelined by a foot problem. For the Lakers, their injury report includes LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell and Cam Reddish. It remains to be seen who will be out, but either way, the visitors should have a decent chance in this contest. Miami is looking to sweep the regular-season series, having previously defeated Los Angeles 108-107 on November 6. Bam Adebayo delivered a triple-double in the first meeting; he really likes the matchup against Davis, which is a testament to his overall quality of play. Meanwhile, Davis endured a stinker in that game — going for just 9 points and 6 rebounds. The Lakers are in desperate need of a win with a disappointing 1-3 record in their last 4 outings. At +180, Miami has good value on the money line.
