Two old Eastern Conference foes clash tonight at Madison Square Garden as the Chicago Bulls take on the New York Knicks in what will be the first meeting of the season between the two teams. I’ve prepared a Bulls vs Knicks Same Game Parlay to spice things up a little, with tip-off set at 8:30 pm ET on ABC. We’ve also got NBA picks for tonight’s biggest games, but for now, let’s get into our SGP for tonight’s matchup.

Over 219.5 points (-110)

Julius Randle over 9.5 rebounds (-111)

Donte DiVincenzo 3+ made threes (-115)

Same Game Parlay odds: +485

Over 219.5 points (-110)

The addition of OG Anunoby should boost the Knicks’ defense substantially — prior to the trade they were on a run of 4 games where they allowed 140, 117, 129 and 122 points. That’s mainly due to them missing their big man Mitchell Robinson, who isn’t expected back any time soon. This team has trended towards the over quite a lot lately with that bet cashing 11 times in their last 16 games. Tonight, the number is set at a modest 219.5 points which is not a lot by today’s standards.

Chicago will have some tired legs out there after their game in Philadelphia on Tuesday, so if the Knicks are smart they’ll push the tempo here and make the most of that. The last 10 meetings between the 2 teams are averaging 218.3 points per game, while the last time they met at MSG we saw a final score of 118-117. I’ll take the points in this one.

Julius Randle over 9.5 rebounds (-111)

Julius Randle has had a steady diet of double-digit boards in meetings against the Chicago Bulls recently — he’s currently on a streak of 7 straight with at least 10 rebounds against them. The absence of Robinson should open things up for him here — he is the team’s leading rebounder with the center out of the lineup. Chicago’s rebounding has been very inconsistent this season, they are the 6th-worst ranked team in the NBA in opponent rebounds this season, giving up 52.9 per game. Andre Drummond might have the size advantage over Randle, but the Knicks forward is a lot more agile which should give him the edge here. He’s averaging exactly 10 rebounds per game in the last 10 meetings against the Bulls’ big man.

Donte DiVincenzo 3+ made threes (-115)

One of the players who will benefit the most from the RJ Barrett trade on the Knicks roster is Donte DiVincenzo. He is already one of the team’s leaders in 3-point attempts at 5.6 per game, but with Barrett now gone there’s an extra 5 threes available and DiVincenzo should capitalize on that. He’s averaging 2.5 makes per game this season on 44.3% efficiency, making him one of the best shooters in the NBA. He’s been in stellar form lately — just 2 games ago he dropped 38 points on the Indiana Pacers, making 7 threes. In his last 10 outings, he’s averaging 14 points per game on 47% efficiency from downtown.

Against the Bulls, DiVincenzo cleared this line twice in the last 3 meetings and has also knocking down 37.5% of attempts from deep in the last 10 games head-to-head. December was one of the hottest shooting months of his career, he finished it making 3.1 triples per game on 49.4% efficiency. With Chicago being a mediocre 3-point defensive team, I’m counting on a productive night for DiVincenzo.
