To officially wrap up the 2023-24 NHL regular season, we have a 6-game slate tonight. The entire Eastern Conference is set in terms of playoff matchups, which begin on Saturday, but there is still seeding to be determined in the Western Conference. That means plenty to play for, and to help add some excitement to this final day, we’ve shared our best NHL parlay picks for today. Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Parlay Picks (4/18)

Avalanche -1.5 (+140)

Flames ML & under 6.5 goals (+145)

Kings -1.5 (-140)

NHL parlay odds: +908

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over Edmonton Oilers (+140)

Speaking of the Western Conference, it’s only fitting that we get our NHL parlay picks started with a potential Western Conference Finals preview. In fact, it’s quite a likely one, as Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid are the faces of the entire NHL. Oddly enough, neither team can win their division tonight, and the Avs are one of the playoff series that are already set. They’ll be taking on the Winnipeg Jets, and with that meaning an elite goaltender in Connor Hellebuyck, they’re going to want to build some momentum heading into the postseason.

Doing so against McDavid and company is no easy task, but the Oilers were also on the ice just last night, and on the road no less. As if that wasn’t a reason for concern among Edmonton fans, they lost by 3 goals to a lowly Arizona Coyotes team. Whether it’s a lack of motivation to see the Vancouver Canucks win the Pacific Division or otherwise, this is a prime spot for the Avs to make it 8 wins in their past 10 meetings with Edmonton.

Calgary Flames ML over San Jose Sharks & Under 6.5 goals (+145)

The 2nd leg of our NHL parlay picks for today is focused on another Western Conference clash, but this time, we won’t be seeing playoff teams on either side of the ice. While it’s been tough for the Calgary Flames since losing Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk 2 seasons ago, it pales in comparison to just how bad of a season the San Jose Sharks have put on display. They sunk to the bottom of the league virtually instantly, and have sat there all year.

Their 47 points are by far the fewest in the NHL; for perspective, the Columbus Blue Jackets are the worst team in the Eastern Conference with 66 points. They also just lost to the Flames 9 days ago. In that matchup, we saw just 5 goals scored, and in each of Calgary’s last 2 wins against San Jose, that has been the case. We certainly don’t have any faith in the Sharks finding the back of the net, so we’re rolling with a low-scoring Flames win.

Los Angeles Kings -1.5 over Chicago Blackhawks (-140)

Our entire focus tonight is on the Western Conference, as another intraconference matchup is how we’re rounding out our NHL parlay picks for today. This time, we have a playoff-caliber team in the Los Angeles Kings cruising through the Chicago Blackhawks. This is the least surprising of our NHL parlay picks, and the odds display that. However, there is still value to be had, especially with LA’s motivation.

After being ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights in the standings for much of the past few months, they just recently fell a single point behind the defending champs. Not only did that knock them down to a Wild Card spot, but the 2nd one at that. Avoiding the Dallas Stars should absolutely be a goal, and getting to face the Blackhawks on the last day is the perfect recipe to do so. They’ve smacked Chicago 6-2 and 5-0 this season, and now they have all the reason in the world to lay the hammer again. This is a huge game for LA, so we’re backing the Kings on home ice to finish off our NHL parlay picks for today.

See tonight’s best NHL player prop bets — we’re on a 27-9 run!
