We’ve got a two-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, but there are still plenty of opportunities to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

William Nylander over 2.5 shots on goal (-124)

It all comes down to Game 7 for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. Toronto was once up 3-1 in the series, but poor play over the last two games has given Montreal a chance. Auston Matthews has done very little in this series with just four points. Three of those points came in one game, too. Because Matthews is not performing well, we are going back to a William Nylander prop. He has had seven points in this series and has recorded at least one in five of the six games. However, we are instead going to look at a shots-on-goal prop. Nylander is averaging 3.16 shots on goal per game and has more than three shots on goal in four of the six games. He has been one of the better players in this series, so we should expect him to take plenty of shots in a must-win Game 7. For that reason, we like his shots-on-goal prop tonight.

David Pastrnak over 1 point (+108)

Boston easily handled the Islanders in Game 1 behind the play of David Pastrnak. He posted a hat-trick in the game and we believe he can continue his good form. He now has nine points in these playoffs and is averaging nearly two points per game. So, while we like the Islanders to bounce back and even up the series, backing Pastrnak to have another good game is a solid bet at this price. He could also just have one point and that would be a push. He has had at least one point in five of the six playoff games for Boston so far in this postseason, so this play is worth a shot.
