We’ve got a six-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

James van Riemsdyk Over 2 Shots on Goal (-154)

It is hard to believe just how bad the Buffalo Sabres are this season. Losing 18 games in a row is beyond awful and we are going to the Flyers tonight to take advantage. Not a point prop though as we will look to a shots on goal prop. The player we will focus on tonight will be James van Riemsdyk. He has 84 shots on goal this season and is averaging 2.47 shots on goal per game. In the month of March (16 games so far), Van Riemsdyk has cashed this prop five times. However, he has had at least two shots on goal in 15 of the 16 games. We expect him to be fine here and take advantage of one of the worst defenses in the NHL.

John Tavares Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

The Toronto Maple Leafs will get set to play the Winnipeg Jets in what should be an entertaining game. Usually, backing Auston Matthews or Mitch Marner would be our play, but instead we will be looking at a prop for John Tavares. That being a shots on goal prop, so he does not even need to score. He has 99 shots on goal this season and is averaging 2.91 shots on goal per game. He has four shots on goal in each of the last three games and has cashed this prop in four of the last seven games. Even against a good Jets team, we expect there to be plenty of goals. Because of that, we are backing this shots on goal prop to go over.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Winnipeg Jets.

Dustin Brown Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

The Los Angeles Kings continue to fall in the standings, but we are going to back a player on their team to have some shots tonight. That player being Dustin Brown, who is second on his team with 90 shots on goal. He averages 2.90 shots on goal. He has cashed this prop in 13 straight games, averaging 6.07 shots on goal per game during this stretch. Given how often Brown has been able to shoot, we will back this over here.
