We have put together a list of all of the day’s best odds boosts, which today are from DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s take a look at whether or not they are worth playing:

DeMar DeRozan to score 35+ points – Boosted from +120 to +135 with DraftKings Sportsbook

For this prop, we will need DeMar DeRozan to continue playing at an elite level. He might be playing the best basketball of his right now and arguably is the best player in the league over the last month. Reason for that is he has scored at least 35 or more points in 8 straight games. We will need that streak to extend to 9 games tonight, and DeRozan will have to do it against a good Grizzlies team. During his 8 game stretch, DeRozan is shooting an incredible 61.8% from the field on average. His damage is not even coming from behind the 3-point line as he is doing pretty much everything from mid range or inside the paint. The Grizzlies might be a solid team, but DeRozan is too hot right now to fade, so backing him to score 35 points is worth a play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to record 50+ combined points & rebounds – Boosted from +120 to +135 with DraftKings Sportsbook

For this prop we will need Giannis Antetokounmpo to record a combined 50 points and rebounds. He is averaging 29.4 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game. Even though these are some of the better numbers across the league, those average would still fall well short of what we need here. In 2 games against the Nets, he is averaging 31.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game, but again, even this falls well short of the number needed. This prop suggests Antetokounmpo will need at least 40 points to have a shot at hitting a combined 50 points and rebounds, and while he could drop 40, I do think the Nets will be able to slow him down enough to keep him from that. For that reason, this prop should likely be avoided.

Over 2.5 First Period Goals in Tampa Bay Lightning vs Nashville Predators – Boosted from +120 to +135 with DraftKings Sportsbook

This prop will need there to be a hectic 1st period in the game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Nashville Predators in the form of at least 3 goals scored. Both of these teams score a fair amount of 1st-period goals, both coming in at 51 for the season and ranking tied for 10th in the NHL.

Defensively, the Predators allow just 37 1st-period goals (7th best in the NHL), while the Lightning are right behind them (39 — 8th best in the NHL). This game is important for the Predators because they do not want to drop any further in the Central standings. For that reason, look for Nashville to focus on keeping the Tampa Bay offense at bay, at least for the first 20 minutes, and stay away from this prop.
