There are plenty of sports going on today with the NHL playoffs, NBA playoffs and a big slate of MLB baseball games. There look to be a host of promotions and boosts on offer from sportsbooks. But which ones should you look to capitalize on?

We’ve put together a list of all of the day’s best boosts, which happen to be from DraftKings Sportsbook and PointsBet Sportsbook today, and whether they are worth playing. Let’s dive in.

Bruins vs. Islanders: Over o.5 goals in the first 10 minutes (Boosted to +105, DraftKings Sportsbook

Game 6 of this series is tonight and we are expecting a highly contested game. The Bruins have their backs to the wall and must come out in the first period swinging. In the same sense, the Islanders also need to be aggressive because an early goal would do wonders for the energy in the building. In three of the five games, a goal has been scored in the first ten minutes. We also like the over in this game, so backing this odds boost at plus-money looks like a solid play. Suns and Nuggets to combine for 30+ made threes (Boosted to +160, DraftKings Sportsbook

The Suns ended up running away with Game 1, but we expect a bounce-back performance from the Nuggets tonight. These teams made 27 threes combined in Game 1, but neither side shot above 40 percent. Denver ended up going 14 of 40 from deep (35 percent), while Phoenix was 13 of 34 (38 percent). It would be hard to believe both teams could shoot worse than they did in Game 1, so this odds boost looks to be a decent play. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.

Yu Darvish and Jake Arrieta to record over 15.5 Ks combined (Boosted to +425), DraftKings Sportsbook

The San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs will go head-to-head tonight and we have an intriguing pitching matchup. Yu Darvish will take the mound for the Padres, while Jake Arrieta gets the ball for the Cubs. The odds boost in question is concerning the strikeouts of both these guys. Darvish has 84 strikeouts over 72.0 innings this year, giving him a K/9 of 10.5. Arrieta on the other hand, has only 42 strikeouts in 53.0 innings. This gives him a K/9 of 7.1. The main issue, at least for Arrieta, will be how long he can last in this game. He was roughed up recently, but even if he goes 5.0 or 6.0, this is a number we could probably reach. We expect Darvish will do the bulk of the work, but at these odds, this play is worth a small shot. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.

Gerrit Cole under 8 strikeouts (Boosted to +150), PointsBet Sportsbook

Gerrit Cole is a strikeout machine, but has failed to have more than eight Ks in his last four consecutive starts. Even against the struggling Minnesota Twins, there looks to be a good chance that Cole could have some problems. Especially with the recent allegations of Cole’s involvement with the ‘sticky stuff’, we think there is decent value in backing this odds boost.

Nikola Jokic to score 25+ points and the Nuggets to win (Boosted to +320), PointsBet Sportsbook

Nikola Jokic was named MVP the other night, but he is probably going to need to play a little better if the Nuggets want to even up this series. He was ten of 23 from the field in Game 1 and had 22 points. That is not a terrible stat line, but coming off the series against Portland in which he averaged over 30 points per game, he has to be better. Our experts like the Nuggets to cover tonight, but winning might be a little more difficult. Still, Jokic is probably going to reach this mark tonight, only helping the Nuggets’ chance. Given the odds listed, this looks to be a decent play for tonight. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.

Brad Marchand to score a goal and the Bruins to win (Boosted to +310), PointsBet Sportsbook

The Boston Bruins blew Game 5 and are now facing elimination. In times of desperation, the Bruins will need to turn to their best players. One of those guys being Brad Marchand. He has three goals in this series, so it is not out of the question that he scores tonight as well. However, our experts actually like the Islanders to close out this series, so even at this price, this might be an odds boost to avoid. Be sure to check out our full game preview for this matchup.
