DraftKings: DFS GPP & Cash Lineups for March 10

Damian Lillard Playing Against Suns

We have a busier tonight in the NBA than we did last night with a nine-game slate. The two teams with the highest team totals are double-digit favorites, so I would recommend staying away from the Rockets and Clippers in cash games tonight and using them more for GPP tournaments. The NHL has an eight-game slate, so it will be a busy night in the NHL as well. I will give you my top three players for cash games and top three players for GPP tonight on DraftKings in the NBA as well as my top center, wing, and the top goalie to use for NHL tonight. Let’s begin by taking a look at who I will be using in my cash game lineups tonight.

NBA Cash Games

Point Guard, Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers ($9,100): The Portland Trail Blazers have the 3rd highest team total tonight with 118.25 points when they go up against the Phoenix Suns. The spread for the game is only 4.5 points, which should indicate there won’t be a blowout tonight, so the starters should see full minutes. The Suns are allowing the 7th most DraftKings points to the point guard position, and Lillard is one of the most dominant point guards in the NBA. Lock him in tonight in your DFS cash game lineups.

Shooting Guard, Coby White, Chicago Bulls ($6,800): Coby White has been a force on DraftKings over his previous four games, going for an average of 39.2 DK points over his last four games and going for 44 and 40 DK points over his previous two. The Bulls may not have one of the highest team totals tonight at 110 points, but I still look for White to have a phenomenal game and continue his stellar play.

Small Forward, Dario Saric, Phoenix Suns ($5,500): The Trail Blazers/Suns game is one of our NBA Picks to go over the total. The total is also the 2nd highest team total, and the game projects to be a close match-up tonight. The Suns have the 8th highest team total at 113.75 points tonight when they go up against the Trail Blazers. Portland is allowing the most DK points to the small forward position this season. All of which makes Saric my favorite cash-saving option tonight in NBA DFS.

NBA GPP

Point Guard, Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets ($10,100): Westbrook has been in somewhat of a drought over his last few games going for an under 5x value average over his previous four games. However, he is still one of the best players in the NBA, and tonight he is in a favorable match-up against the Timberwolves. The Rockets have the highest team total tonight with 129.5 points. We all have this game as one of our NBA Picks to be closer than the spread indicates. However, given the spread of 12.5 points, Westbrook still is more of a GPP play than a cash game play tonight.

Small Forward, Robert Covington, Houston Rockets ($6,200): The Rockets/Timberwolves game is the game I will be targeting tonight for my GPP lineups. The Rockets have the highest team total on the board while the Timberwolves have the 4th highest. Covington has gone for an average of 33.25 DK points over his last three games. He finds himself in a favorable match-up tonight against the Timberwolves, who are allowing the 8th highest DK points to the position. I look for Covington to get above his average over the past few games and get closer to 40 DK points tonight.

Center, James Johnson, Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,900): With Towns out again tonight, this once again opens up value on the Timberwolves side. The player I plan on running back the Rockets with from Minnesota’s side is James Johnson. Johnson has gone for an average of 30.9 DK points over his last four games. The Rockets are allowing the most DK points to the center position and have been in trouble since they implemented the small-ball mentality. I look for Johnson to be under-owned, but to produce massive value tonight on DraftKings.

NHL Plays

Center, Sebastian Aho, Carolina Hurricanes ($7,100): I wouldn’t blame you if you go Auston Matthews tonight in this spot instead of Aho. However, I am preferring to pay down for Aho, who is going against the worst team defensively in the NHL this season. Aho is due for a massive game as he has struggled lately, failing to get over 10 DK points in any of his last four games. I think that changes tonight against the Red Wings.

Wing, William Nylander, Toronto Maple Leafs ($5,900): I still want exposure to the 1st line of Toronto tonight. The game has the highest total on the slate with 6.5 goals and is one of our NHL Picks to go over the total. The 1st line at home led by Matthews is one of the best lines in the NHL. Give my Nylander at $5,900 and watch him produce value tonight!

Goalie, Petr Mrazek, Carolina Hurricanes ($7,100): Mrazek has great value tonight as the Hurricanes are the biggest money line favorites on the board at -270. The Red Wings are also the lowest-scoring teams in the NHL this season as they are averaging 2.04 goals per game. Mrazek has a chance to shutout the Red Wings tonight, which makes him my favorite goalie for tonight’s NHL DFS slate.
