After an eventful Wild Card Weekend, we’re onto the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, which means the Ravens and 49ers will be back on the field after a bye week. Following the Packers’ dominant victory over the Cowboys as significant underdogs last weekend, they have a matchup with the 49ers in San Francisco on Saturday night.

I have taken a look at the player prop market and have 2 picks to lock in for this NFC matchup. Let’s get into it.

Check out our full Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers predictions

George Kittle, TE, SF Over 51.5 receiving yards (-114)

Available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing

I’m expecting a ton of points in what should be an exciting affair on Saturday, and just like last week I’ll be targeting a tight end to go over his receiving yards prop against the Packers. Green Bay’s defense has struggled defending the tight end and that continued into the playoffs, as Jake Ferguson was one of the few Cowboys players to have consistent success, racking up 10 receptions for 93 yards and 3 touchdowns on the day. In steps George Kittle, who has great rapport with Brock Purdy and has proven himself to be a security blanket for both Purdy and Jimmy Garoppolo in the playoffs. Kittle has cleared this line in 8 of the last 10 games and I expect him to have a big impact on this contest come Saturday night.

Aaron Jones, RB, GB Over 67.5 rushing yards (-115)

Available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to 69.5

While Jordan Love is getting the majority of the credit for the Packers’ in-season turnaround — and rightly so — the last month has been all about Aaron Jones and this Green Bay ground game. In fact, we’ve now seen four consecutive games where Jones has cleared the 100-yard mark on the ground, all of which resulted in wins for Green Bay. Jones has also registered 20 or more carries in each of those contests, so the volume is certainly there for Jones to clear this number once again. And while the 49ers have a more formidable defense than the Cowboys, the ground game is how you can beat this unit. San Francisco sits at 15th in DVOA against the run, in contrast to 3rd in DVOA against the pass. The Packers will likely run the ball early and often, even if they fall behind in the opening half. Jones should get 20+ carries once again, so let’s back him to go over his rushing prop yet again.
