We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including action from the NBA, NHL, college basketball, and World Cup qualifying.

One pick is taken from each sport, and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1200 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning ML (-110) vs Boston Bruins, 7:05  pm ET

These teams have been seeing very different results lately. The Bruins are on fire, as they have won 7 of their last 9 contests. The Lightning, on the other hand, have only won 2 games of their last 7. Even though the teams are playing different, I’m taking the Lightning here. They are coming off a close 3-2 loss against the tough Carolina Hurricanes, while the Bruins struggled to take down the Montreal Canadiens in their previous game. Roll with Tampa Bay to get things back on track.

NBA: Washington Wizards +12.5 (-110) vs Milwaukee Bucks, 8:10 pm ET

The Bucks haven’t been great against the spread at all this season, despite their impressive straight up record. They are 15-22 against the spread at home this season. However, The real question is how much will the Bucks defense keep the Wizards from scoring? If Washington can get past 105 points, covering this number may be tough for Milwaukee. You get the feeling this is the sort of game that the Bucks sleepwalk through and win, but don’t cover. I’ll back the trend of the Bucks not covering large numbers at home, especially with their defense allowing 118 points per game over their last 10 games.

College basketball: Texas Tech Red Raiders ML (-115) vs Duke Blue Devils, 9:39 pm ET

Duke is coming off a cover against Michigan State while Texas Tech barely survived a real scare from Notre Dame. On the surface, the Blue Devils have it all going for them, including more talented players and the Coach K narrative. The Red Raiders have the best adjusted defense in the country and play a style that Duke hasn’t seen for much of this season. In fact, the Blue Devils haven’t faced a top 10 defense since beating Gonzaga in November.

On the other side of the floor, Duke’s defense has struggled mightily of late, allowing 78 points per game over their last 6. Tech’s offense was dynamite against Montana State (12-20 on 3-pointers), then regressed against Notre Dame (4-15) and a healthy middle ground should be enough to get the job done.

World Cup qualifying: Mexico ML (-110) vs USA, 10:00 pm ET

With 3 rounds of games left, 3rd-place Mexico and 2nd-place USA both have 21 points — 4 clear of 4th-place Panama, which is currently in the playoff position. Both teams are likely to qualify, but the USMNT has had problems in road games, taking just 5 points from the 15 available.

Mexico is unbeaten in 5 home qualifying games, and Gerardo Martino has a strong, veteran squad  including Wolves attacker Raul Jimenez, Napoli forward Hirving Lozano and Sevilla wide man Jesus Corona. They should have extra motivation to please the returning fans, and have value at plus money to claim a home win.
