We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including picks from the MLB and NFL Preseason. Three picks are taken from the MLB with one pick from the NFL Preseason. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +852 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: Houston Astros ML (-130) over Chicago White Sox, 8:10 pm ET

The Astros did not start this series off the way they had expected. However, the Astros still have the best record in the American League and have recently overtaken the Yankees as the 2nd-betting favorite to win the World Series. Meanwhile, the White Sox are still struggling to fend off the other teams in a weak AL Central division.

Despite the White Sox success in this series, it hasn’t been in dominant fashion. Therefore that should still make a difference and is certainly a benefit for Luis Garcia. The Astros starter is going for his 10th win of the season, and should be confident in doing so.

Meanwhile, Lucas Giolito will make the start for the White Sox. He was crushed by the Astros earlier this season as they scored 8 runs on him. That demonstrates the depth of the Astros lineup. All of those pieces should allow Houston to close out this series on top.

MLB: Baltimore Orioles ML (-155) over Chicago Cubs, 3:05 pm ET

The Orioles will get to stay in Baltimore and they are getting their weekend started against Cubs starter Adrian Sampson. The former reliever has yet to record a win this season and has already lost to Baltimore once. That was just over a month ago, when he allowed 3 runs to Baltimore. Since then the Cubs have lost 2 of his starts in shutout fashion.

That’s all great news for Orioles starter Spenser Watkins. The 2nd-year pitcher helped Baltimore defeat the Cubs just a day after Sampson’s loss. The Orioles had the Cubs’ number the last time they met and should again on Thursday.

MLB: New York Yankees ML (-140) over Toronto Blue Jays, 7:05 pm ET

There’s no denying that the Yankees offense hasn’t been anything compared to what it had been just a few weeks ago. However, they still have the AL MVP favorite in Aaron Judge, and are still the 2nd-highest scoring team. All of that is the perfect storm for them against Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios. He has given up the 3rd-most runs of any pitcher in the entire league. He’s behind only Patrick Corbin, who is having a historically bad season, and German Marquez, who pitches in hitter-friendly Coors Field. Because Berrios has struggled all season, backing the Yankees to win will be the play.

NFL Preseason: Chicago Bears +3.5 (-110) over Seattle Seahawks, 8:00 pm ET

Week 2 of the 2022 NFL preseason will kick off with a Thursday night game between the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks. There are very few scenarios in which I would lay 4 points in the preseason, and this is not one of them. The Seahawks indeed have home-field advantage, but it’s not like their 12th man is going to make a difference in a preseason situation.

The Bears played turnover-free football in its opener, which is a recipe for success not only in the preseason but in any game. For that reason, give me the Bears plus more than a field goal.
