We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Monday, including picks from the EPL and MLB. Three picks are taken from the MLB with one pick from the EPL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +799 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Liverpool ML (-150) over Manchester United, 3:00 pm ET

All the evidence points to Liverpool handing out a fifth straight defeat to Manchester United, who look to be in abject disarray. Liverpool did the double over United last season, triumphing 5-0 over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in October and 4-0 over Ralf Rangnick’s in February. It doesn’t matter who the Glazers put in charge, the outcome looks all too predictable. Liverpool are short – plenty short, but backing them to collect their first 3 points on Monday afternoon will still be the safest play for this parlay.

MLB: New York Mets ML (-165) over New York Yankees, 7:05 pm ET

Domingo German will take the mound for the Yankees while Max Scherzer will start for the visiting Mets. These starters faced off on July 27 and Scherzer hurled 7 innings of shutout ball leading to a 3-2 Mets victory. German pitched well for the Yankees also with 4.2 innings of 2-run ball. However, he generally doesn’t go very deep in games, having thrown 5 or fewer innings in 5 of his 6 starts.

Behind Scherzer, the Mets have a bullpen ranking 5th in xFIP in the last 30 days compared to 24th in that area by the Yankees. On top of that, the Yankees are 4-14 in their last 6 series played while the Mets are 21-7 in their last 28 games. For that reason, backing the Mets on Monday night will be the play.

MLB: Atlanta Braves -1.5 (-120) over Pittsburgh Pirates, 7:05 pm ET

Jake Odorizzi has struggled for the Braves since coming over from the Houston Astros, but the Pittsburgh Pirates should be a welcomed sight. On top of that, the Atlanta Braves will be facing rookie, Roansy Contreras.

Contreras just had his first start after being out for over a month, in which he allowed 4 runs in a loss to the Red Sox. Prior to his time off, he was the starter for a 19-2 beatdown against the Brewers, where he allowed 7 runs in just 1.2 innings. With the struggles from Contreras, backing the Braves to win this game by at least a few runs looks to be well worth a play on Monday night.

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (-120) over Cincinnati Reds, 7:05  pm ET

Monday’s series opener is a great spot for the Philadelphia Phillies as they will start recently-acquired Noah Syndergaard. Thor is 6-0 against the Reds in his career, has an ERA of 2.36 and has 3 starts with at least 9 strikeouts. Because Syndergaard has proven that his dominance over the Reds is no fluke, backing him and the Phillies to win comfortably on Monday night will be the play.
