We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday, including action from the NBA and NHL.

Two picks are taken from each sport, and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1082 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: New Jersey Devils vs Toronto Maple Leafs – Over 6.5 goals (-130), 7:05 pm ET

When a team scoring the 3rd-most goals in the NHL faces the team allowing the 4th-most, it’s not difficult to understand why the over is the play. The Leafs have had goaltending struggles, but failed to make a move before the trade deadline. That has left them with a banged-up Jack Campbell and the sub-par Petr Mrzek. The Devils can get us a few goals to hit the over. Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt average over a point per game. When these teams met earlier this season we saw totals of 10 and 8 goals, so play this over with confidence.

NBA: New York Knicks vs Charlotte Hornets -7 (-110), 7:10 pm ET

The Charlotte Hornets have won 5 straight games as they welcome the fading New York Knicks to town. The Hornets’ offense remains hot, and they are averaging more than 119 points per game over their last 10.

The Hornets also get to take advantage of a Knicks team that will have tired legs and has struggled against Eastern Conference opponents, going 15-27 straight up and marginally better at 17-25 against the spread. Even though Charlotte’s defense is statistically worse than the one New York faced last night, they do not have the offense to keep up with Charlotte. It’s big number, but swallow it as Charlotte is 25-18-1 ATS against the East.

NBA: Orlando Magic vs Oklahoma City Thunder – Under 220 points (-110), 8:10 pm ET

These teams just played in Orlando, where the final score was 90-85 and now the markets are expecting both teams to go well over 100 points. I have difficulty seeing it, even if the Thunder just scored 123 points in a loss to Boston. That game went over but a lot of that was garbage time. OKC scored 39 in the final quarter but the game was never close. This one should be tighter as these teams are much more evenly matched. Maybe the scoring will be a little higher than the last time these teams played, but the first team to 100 will probably win.

NHL: Vancouver Canucks vs Colorado Avalanche – Over 6 goals (-120), 9:35 pm ET

When the 2nd-best offense in the league is featured in a game, the pick for the game total is often the over, and that’s what we are rolling with here. Thatcher Demko has been a great goaltender for Vancouver all year, but with a shaky defense in front of him, he is vulnerable against the Avalanche attack.

The Avs haven’t been all-world defensively themselves, ranking 9th in defense. A highly motivated Canucks team should be able to add to the total, which could be very high in this game.
