MLB: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 (-145) vs Detroit Tigers, 1:10pm ET

Detroit has struggled offensively in day games this season, as they are 22nd in the league with a .693 OPS. Things won’t get any easier going up against Brandon Woodruff. The Milwaukee right-hander is posting an impressive 2.48 ERA on the year, and opponents are hitting just .197 against him. The Tigers managed just 2 hits in 6.0 innings against Freddy Peralta last night, and they struck out 18 times in the game. The Brewers are 39-19 in day games on the year, and Woodruff should be able to put in a strong effort. Back the Brewers -1.5.

Champions League: Manchester City -1.5 (-105) vs RB Leipzig, 3pm ET

Manchester City cruised through the Champions League group stage last term – taking 16 points from 18 – and can make a fast start to this season’s competition by overwhelming RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium. City responded to their 1-0 loss at Tottenham in the Premier League with three successive victories and should assume early control in their Group A opener.

Leipzig’s poor start to the Bundesliga (3 defeats in 4 games) continued with a 4-1 loss at home to Bayern Munich on Saturday and they could suffer another heavy defeat in Manchester.

MLS: Los Angeles FC ML (+150) vs Austin FC, 9pm ET

With no notable stars up front, LAFC can get back to playing as a team, rather than crafting a gameplan built around one or two players. They now take on the lowest-scoring team in the Western Conference, expansion side Austin FC, who have lost 3 in a row and 6 of 7 to cement their position at the bottom of the table. Take LAFC on the money line with plenty of confidence.

MLB: San Diego Padres vs San Francisco Giants – Under 8 (-105), 9:45pm ET

Over the last month of action, the Padres are batting a dreadful .196 as a collective unit. Despite having some of the biggest names in baseball, San Diego has been arguably the worst offensive team in the league for the majority of the second half of the campaign. In their last 5 games, they have scored only 6 total runs and have been held to 1 or 0 runs on 4 occasions.

The Giants offense has been spectacular of late, but they will be facing a very tough opposing pitcher in Joe Musgrove. Bettors should expect a very low-scoring affair in this one, especially considering the fact that this game is going to be played in sub-60 degree temperatures. This is arguably the most mispriced total on the market this evening in Major League Baseball.
