As one-dimensional as this Air Force squad is on offense, their defense is pretty outstanding in every facet. They rank in the top 20 in all of college football in pass defense (166.3 yards allowed per game), and opponents are averaging just 14.7 points against this Falcons unit.
The under is 3-1 in Nevada’s last 4 true road games including a perfect 2-0 when they’ve been away from home this season. There were just 58 points combined in both of these teams’ matchups in Week 3, so backing the under will be the play.

MLB pick today: Cleveland Guardians ML over Texas Rangers (+105), 8:05 pm ET
Cleveland have been playing playoff-style baseball all month and are clicking on all cylinders. Since September 5, Cleveland is 14-3 with a +27 run differential and has been beating up on bad teams. Unfortunately for the Rangers, at 20 games under .500, they probably qualify as a bad team. Therefore, until Cleveland’s trends change, they continue to be a good play.

MLB pick today: Detroit Tigers vs Chicago White Sox – Over 7.5 runs (+100), 8:10 pm ET
The total for this game should be played with confidence. Firstly, the White Sox should continue taking advantage against lefties. The opposition has scored 5 or more runs against Eduardo Rodriguez in 3 of his 4 starts this month. The Sox have also had high-scoring games through the week, and they are still at home for this series.
This is also about the Tigers hitting consistently well against Lucas Giolito. They put up 4 runs on him last month, and 5 more in July. Their offense may not be overly impressive, but neither is Chicago’s bullpen. Even the Tigers’ bullpen has been tapering off over the last few weeks. For that reason, backing the over will be the play.
