Came home nine-and-a-quarter-lengths fourth on that occasion and has subsequently shipped to this venue where she’s registered a number of impressive works in the last month. Expected to have improved for that debut effort and with the step up in trip expected to suit she is taken to break her maiden at the second time of asking.
The winner of a $50,000 maiden claiming contest over seven furlongs at this venue in October the gelding has delivered three solid efforts subsequently including when four-and-a-quarter-lengths fourth having faded late on in a $50,000 starter event over a mile at Fair Grounds in February. Given a break following that effort the return to sprinting looks likely to suit. The booking of Irad Ortiz is a further positive and the gelding is selected to double his career tally.
Completed a double when delivering a two-and-a-quarter-length victory in the Grade 2 Indiana Oaks on a good track at Horseshoe Indianapolis in July last year. The daughter of Classic Empire has made just the two subsequent appearances however including when two-and-three-quarter-lengths fourth over the same trip in the Grade 2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park last month.
