Pressed the leaders early on that day but proved a disappointment when last of seven over a mile-and-one-eighth at Saratoga when last in action. Has a top jockey at this track in the saddle in Frankie Pennington and looks up to returning to winning ways for trainer Robert E Reid Jr.

5:15 pm Parx (Race 10) – The Critical Way 6/5

Demonstrated good form in racing times completing a double when delivering a victory in the five-and-one-half-furlong Wolf Hill Stakes last month. Was completing a Monmouth Park double on that occasion having earlier taken out the Get Serious Stakes and having performed well here in the past when winning a stakes contest in September last year he is likely to track the pace and is taken to deliver a third consecutive victory with Paco Lopez booked for the ride.

Showed he is up to competing in Graded stakes company when delivering a victory in the Grade 3 Matt Winn Stakes at Churchill Downs at the end of May. Slightly disappointing when placing third having been sent off favourite for the Grade 3 Indiana Derby last month on his only subsequent start however. Looks capable of bouncing back here with regular jockey Florent Geroux, on board for the colts two most recent starts taking the ride.
