Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside with my MLB and NFL record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite plays for Sunday.

Khris Middleton (Bucks) over 17.5 points (-118)

Line available at FanDuel at the time of publishing.

The NBA champ is back. After a tough 7-game stretch in which he averaged 14 points per game, Middleton has answered with 6 straight games over 20 points. The good news for us is that his volume continues to rise. He is averaging over 17 field-goal attempts per game in his last 5 and getting to the line 3-4 times a game.

This play reminds me a lot of our Gary Trent over we took on Friday night. The Knicks defense struggles to defend volume scorers. Their defensive efficiency and points allowed are way down from last season’s overachievement. New York will be without their starting backcourt in this one but with Randle, Fournier and Rose, this game should stay close enough for Khris to see 30-plus minutes.

Franz Wagner (Magic) over 22.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)

Line available at FanDuel at the time of publishing.

The number 8 overall pick in the 2021 draft has come into his own as of late. After only surpassing this line in 2 of his first 13 games as a pro, Wagner has put together 12 games of over 23 points, rebounds, and assists in his last 14. He is giving the Magic another scoring option other than point guard Cole Anthony. If you follow my twitter, you might have seen that we hit on Cole Anthony over 20.5 points in the last minute of the game yesterday. I thought about going back to him but I think we will get a better matchup for Wagner especially if Anthony gets guarded by Avery Bradley. The Lakers rank bottom 10 in points and rebounds allowed to small fowards and Wagner has shown that he is more than capable of putting together a 5+ assist game.

Wagner has hit this line in his last 9 games and should continue his dominance in Los Angeles tonight.
