Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now, I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside with my MLB and NFL record. Currently, for the 2021-2022 season, our NBA record stands at 31-20 +8.97 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite plays for Sunday:

Dejounte Murray over 32.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115)

Line available at DraftKings at the time of publishing

Murray has been one of the most exciting and improved players in the NBA this season. He is averaging a career high in points (18.4), rebounds (8.1) and assists (8.2). Yes, near triple-double numbers. After a slow 3-game start from the field, Murray has crushed this line. He is 5 for his last 6 with his only miss being in a blowout loss against the Pacers when he played only 26 minutes.

Recently, the Thunder have allowed big games to point guards. Russell Westbrook put together a 27, 6, and 5 game against his former team. The week before that, Westbrook recorded his first triple-double of the season against the Thunder.

Murray should have a similar game to the one Westbrook put together as the Thunder rank in the bottom 5 in defensive efficiently and in the top 3 in pace.

Richaun Holmes over 25.5 points + rebounds (-105)

Line available at DraftKings at the time of publishing

Here we are again targeting a player in the midst of a career year. Holmes is averaging 15.9 points, 11 rebounds, and shooting 69% from the field which ranks 4th in the league. Fresh off a career game on Friday night, Holmes looks to build on that against the Indiana Pacers. Holmes has played well against Myles Turner. His last two games against him brought 26 points and rebounds, and 29 points and rebounds. Turner is a great defender, but, I’m projecting Holmes to surpass this line, as he has in 5 of 9 games to start the season.
