The MLB season is officially underway and we have another great slate on Good Friday with a bunch of interesting matchups. And what better way to celebrate the start of the weekend than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay.

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today.

Athletics ML (+172)

Guardians ML (+130)

Cardinals ML (+136)

Parlay odds: +1376

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Oakland Athletics ML (+172) over Toronto Blue Jays

Maybe the A’s won’t be as bad as we all thought. I’m taking Oakland on the money line to start off our mega parlay. Everyone assumed they’d be terrible this season after trading away Matt Olson and generally being cheapskates like usual. This is a team that was 10 games above .500 last year, but they’re getting priced like a bottom-feeder. They’ve looked pretty solid so far while getting out to a 4-3 record, and just took three of four from the Rays.

Most recently, the Athletics won 6-3 on Thursday night. That was far from their best offensive game of the series, as they clobbered Tampa 13-2 in the opener. They followed that up by scoring eight runs the next day. A’s starter Daulton Jefferies is coming off a promising first start where he threw five scoreless innings against the Phillies and only gave up two hits. On the other hand, Blue Jays starter Ross Stripling couldn’t get deeper than two innings into his first 2022 outing.

Cleveland Guardians ML (+130) over San Francisco Giants

Continue to sleep on Cleveland at your own peril. To say the Guardians are on a roll would be quite the understatement. They’ve won four games in a row, scoring a ridiculous 44 runs across those contests. Jose Ramirez has predictably been mashing, but rookie Steven Kwan and second-year shortstop Owen Miller have been just as good. It’s been a lot of fun to watch.

Giants starter Carlos Rodon had a breakout season with the White Sox last year, but he had been in the big leagues since 2015 and had never been anywhere near that good. I’m expecting some regression from him in 2022. San Francisco’s offense had one good game against the Padres his week, but the unit has mostly been anemic. In three of their past five games, they’ve scored two runs or fewer. Cleveland starter Zach Plesac has shown a ton of promise the past few years, and just tossed 5 and 2/3 scoreless innings in his 2022 debut.

St. Louis Cardinals ML (+136) over Milwaukee Brewers

To wrap our mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home we’ve got the Cardinals on the money line. Speaking of regression I’m expecting, I also think the Brewers are going to take a bit of a step back. Their 2021 success had fluke written all over it, as they got career-best years from all five of their starting pitchers. One of those pitchers was Freddy Peralta, who will get the ball here.

Peralta struggled on Sunday against the Cubs, tossing 88 pitches in only four innings while surrendering three runs and four walks. His command wasn’t there, and he can’t afford to be shaky against a St. Louis lineup that is hitting really well. The Cardinals have scored at least six runs in three of their five games. Miles Mikolas has been pretty reliable for St. Louis the past few seasons, and the last time he pitched at Miller Park last September he gave up only four baserunners and two runs in seven innings.
