The MLB season is officially in full swing and we have another great slate on Friday with a bunch of interesting matchups. And what better way to celebrate the start of the weekend than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay.

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+168)

Cleveland Guardians ML (+164)

Colorado Rockies ML (+120)

Parlay odds: +1456

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+168) over Milwaukee Brewers

To start this mega parlay off we’ve got the Phillies on the run line. I was skeptical of Milwaukee’s success last season, as they combined a mediocre offense with career-best years from five different starting pitchers to win the NL Centra. That didn’t feel sustainable, and I’m expecting regression this season. The Brewers have started 8-5, but that’s because they’ve already had a series against Pittsburgh and a series against Baltimore.

They lost both of their other sets to the Cubs and Cardinals. Brewer starter Freddy Peralta struggled mightily against Chicago and St. Louis. Through his first two starts of 2022 his ERA is 11.57, and he’s allowed 16 hits and walks in only seven total innings. The Phillies are coming off a win where they scored nine runs, and Nick Castellanos is continuing to mash with his new team. It’s only a matter of time before Bryce Harper wakes up too.

Cleveland Guardians ML (+164) over New York Yankees

I don’t believe Cleveland should be this big of an underdog. Expectations weren’t too high for the Guardians this season, but they’ve gone 7-3 in their last 10 games and some of those wins have been dominant. They’ve scored at least six runs in all but one of those victories. They just swept the White Sox, outscoring them 19-5 across their three-game set. The Yankees certainly aren’t anything to be afraid of, and they’ve been treading water for the first few weeks of the season.

New York just lost two of three to the Orioles, and I’m not sure how anyone could lay -185 with an offense that has produced 39 total runs through 13 games. Not with a middling Jameson Taillon on the mound. For all the money they’ve spent, the Yankees have managed to come up with a remarkably un-explosive lineup. They still haven’t scored more than six runs in a game all season, and even that performance came all the way back on Opening Day.

Colorado Rockies ML (+120) over Detroit Tigers

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Rockies on the money line. I thought Colorado was being slept on coming into the season, and they still can’t get any respect after an 8-4 start. They already defied expectations last season, and then went out and added Kris Bryant on a massive deal during the offseason. Their pitching staff is underrated, including Antonio Senzatela who will start here.

Senzatela understandably struggled a bit in his first start of the year against the Dodgers’ all-time lineup, but in his most recent start he only gave up one run to the Cubs. And both of those outings came at the high altitude of Coors Field. Some people were cautiously bullish on the Tigers entering the year but they’ve started just 5-7 and their offense is back to their anemic ways. They’ve now gone five straight games without scoring more than three runs.
