MLB NLDS same game parlay (+1674 odds): Atlanta Braves vs Milwaukee Brewers

Braves - Ozzie Albies

The Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers get it on at 4:37pm ET today on TBS and we should bet the game. I hate to keep bringing it up but we’re not going to keep getting these day baseball games much longer. Pretty soon it will be soccer that will keep us gambling during work hours (not that there’s anything wrong with that). We should take advantage and we should do it with a same game parlay from FanDuel. This makes sense and you know it. Especially if you like the Braves.

Before you read on, why not follow me on Twitter real quick? It makes sense. I don’t always have time to post articles on Pickswise, but that doesn’t mean you should miss them. I would actually hate it if you did.

Ozzie Albies to record 2+ hits (+250)

Dansby Swanson to record 2+ hits (+500)

Ozzie Albies to record 2+ hits (+250)

I don’t love the 2+ hit props but they aren’t the worst value. Especially since we can pick our spots. People are going to say that +250 isn’t a good price for this because of how many games Albies has played relative to how many he ended in 2+ hits. That’s dumb. We wouldn’t have taken Albies in all the games. We would have taken him only in spots like this in which he is 10-29 in 6 games this season against the opposing pitching staff. Games where he is 2-4 against the opposing pitcher, even though batter vs pitcher stats don’t even matter. Stretches like this in which the guy has recorded at least 2 hits in 2 of his last 4 games. Given the spot, +250 is not a bad price for Albies today and if we can find another Braves guy to pair him with, we may be on to something.

Dansby Swanson to record 2+ hits (+500)

Guess what? I found another Braves’ player to pair Albies with and his name is Dansby Swanson. Like Albies, Swanson hit the Brewers at a decent clip this season, notching a 2+ hit game at least once in both series between these teams. In his last 2+ hit game against the Brewers Albies also had 2 hits, but I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. Swanson is coming off a rough series against the Mets in which he went hitless, but in the series before that he had 2+ hits in 2 of the 3 games. I think he’s a matchup guy and in 5 at-bats against Corbin Burnes, he’s 4 for 5 with 2 dingers. Better versus pitcher stats don’t matter, but that’s still nice to know. It’s not crazy to think Swanson could have a couple of base knocks today.
