MLB Saturday same game parlay: Cleveland Indians vs Chicago White Sox (+1464)

Lance Lynn White Sox

Saturday’s are for afternoon MLB and this one sets up perfectly. Seven games liter the board so there is a lot to go over. The one that stands out in my eyes is the Cleveland Indians taking on the Chicago White Sox at 4:05pm ET. There are all kinds of angles to play and when that happens, a same game parlay is in order. That’s just science!

Let’s take a look at the best options for this showdown and don’t forget to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Triston McKenzie over 5.5 strikeouts (+110)

Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+104)

The White Sox look to be in a smash spot today against Triston McKenzie and the Indians. While McKenzie may get his fair share of strikeouts, he should also serve up his fair share of runs. He has given up seven earned runs in his last 13 innings pitched so he is ripe for it. McKenzie is sporting an insane .485 WOBA to lefties this season and while the White Sox don’t have an illegal amount of left-handed bats, they have a few. Look for this one to be an 7-2 type game.

Triston McKenzie Over 5.5 strikeouts (+110)

This kid has good stuff but he walks so many batters that he doesn’t pitch too far into games. Still, he has gone over this number in two of his last three games while never going more than five innings. He has a ridiculous 31.1% strikeout rate so if he can just stay in for five innings, he should get six whiffs. It’s important to note that he wasn’t a “walk guy” in the minors so this free pass problem may be temporary. He has already seen the White Sox once this season and he whiffed six in only four innings. This is a good price for six today before he gets the hook.

Yoan Moncada to record a hit (-280)

One of the better bets in the White Sox lineup to get a hit today is Yoan Moncada. In his last ten games, he has gotten a hit in nine of them. He’s batting third today against a righty in Triston McKenzie which means he will be batting left-handed to start. McKenzie has given up a .333 average to lefties this season and Moncada has already hit him once this season in only two at bats. A two at bat sample size isn’t anything but it’s all we have. A hit is a hit is a hit.

Lance Lynn over 6.5 strikeouts (-120)

At some point Lance Lynn has to come back to reality but does he? So far this season he is rocking a 35.1% strikeout percentage will is well out of what he has done so far in his career. You would have to go all the way back to 2011 in St. Louis to find his previous best which was 29.4%. Still, Lynn has posted double digit strikeouts in each of his last two starts. One of those starts was to this same Cleveland Indians lineup. Lynn should punch out at least seven Indians again today.
