MLB Sunday same game parlay (+908 odds): New York Mets vs Philadelphia Phillies

Zack Wheeler Phillies

Yesterday was pure magic. We all saw the Mets-Phillies same game parlay cash in the best way possible. Odubel Herrera legitimately launched a ball into orbit making us all winners. He had a hell of a bat flip, too. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend checking it out. It was one of the more nonchalant pimp-jobs you are going to see; just great stuff.

Since the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies play again today, we should throw out another same game parlay. You can’t win if you don’t bet. That’s a fact. It’s another pretty ridiculous one, but we can do it the wimp way if we want–similar to how I did yesterday’s. Just take the Phillies -1.5 +116 for 1 unit and then take the parlay for .1 unit. It’s up to you.

Don’t forget that you can also follow me on Twitter for any other bets I might throw out throughout the day. Bets are just flying all over the place here so they’re easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention.

Parlay odds: +908

Philadelphia Phillies ML (-168)

The Philadelphia Phillies have now won 7 games in a row. It’s safe to say they’re ballin’. Those wins have come over the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals and the suddenly bad New York Mets, but still. You can only play who is on the schedule. Today Zack Wheeler gets the start for Philadelphia and that’s not the guy the Mets will want to see. He’s been the Phillies’ ace all season and he’s gone at least 7.0 innings in each of his last 3 starts. Going deep in this one will allow the Mets to miss the Phillies’ bullpen which is a good thing for Philadelphia. The Phillies bullpen has a 4.57 ERA over the last 15 days so anytime they can spend on the sidelines the better. Taijuan Walker has looked like a piñata lately giving up 15 runs in 14.2 innings of work for a Mets team that has lost 6 of their last 7 games. I think the Phillies roll today.

Alec Bohm to hit a home run (+750)

Alec Bohm Phillies

This is where we’re getting a bit wild but, hey, it’s the weekend. If you can’t let loose a little on a Sunday, then when can you do it? Like yesterday, this isn’t that dumb. You’re going to say Bohm has only hit 7 home runs all season and to that I say Odubel Herrera only had 7 dongs going into yesterday. That seemed to work out for everybody.

Taijuan “Tape Measure” Walker has given up 7 home runs in his last 14.2 innings pitched. The batter’s box looks more like a launch pad when he’s on the mound. Walker just gave up a dinger to Alex Jackson last game who hadn’t hit one in his career before that day. The guy is batting .100 for his career. Point is, somebody is going to put one in the seats today for the Phillies. Probably 2 guys. Nine of the 13 home runs Walker has given up this season has been to right-handed batters. At +750, this isn’t that crazy.
