MLB Thursday same game parlay (+814 odds): Milwaukee Brewers vs St. Louis Cardinals

Avisail Garcia Brewers

Alright so here is how today is going to go down. It’s pretty much like going out to eat. We have to consider the Milwaukee Brewers vs St. Louis Cardinals as the appetizer. At no point do you go balls to the walls at a nice place on the appetizer. You dip in here and there but you save some room for the main course. In this scenario the main course is the NFL game and by not going balls to the walls I mean throw a tenth of a unit on this delicious app. Let’s get fat responsibly.

Avisail Garcia to record 2+ hits (+165)

Luis Urias to record 2+ hits (+280)

Parlay odds: +814

Avisail Garcia to record 2+ hits (+165)

I have little to no faith in J.A. Happ and I think the Brewers are going to hit him. He’s been reasonable lately but this guy can give up 8 hits in less than 2 innings. I’ve seen him do it and it wasn’t that long ago. Avisail Garcia has never had trouble with Happ and I don’t see that changing today. We all know batter vs pitcher stats don’t matter but Garcia is 6-16 lifetime against Happ with 2 dingers. He just had a hit in the last game against St. Louis so he’s seeing the ball well. I think Happ is the perfect guy to bring Garcia to life today especially since the Brewers just snapped the Cardinals’ 17-game win streak last night. He’s a good place to start this parlay.

Luis Urias to record 2+ hits (+280)

I wanted Lorenzo Cain for this slot but FanDuel isn’t offering him for some reason. That guy is smashing baseballs like it’s his job recently but it is what it is. The thing is, when I was going through the Brewers’ lineup, another name kept popping up: Luis Urias. The kid is only hitting .248 on the season but he just had a 2-hit game against the Cardinals on Tuesday. His last 2 multiple-hit games were also against St. Louis. He likes the Cardinals’ bullpen so if he can just smack one off of Happ, we should be good here. Either way this should definitely be lower than +280.
