We are continuing the week in Major League Baseball with a nine-game slate on Thursday. As is the case with most Thursdays, more than a few teams are traveling in between series. Still, there is more than enough to work with on the betting front. Among those in action are the division-leading New York teams.

Here is our three-team mega parlay.

Rays ML (+130)

Brewers ML (+120)

Mariners ML (+100)

Parlay odds: +912

For this parlay we are going with three underdogs on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Rays ML over Yankees (+130)

The Rays have played the Yankees very close this season despite what the results may indicate. They not only split a four-game series earlier in the season, but also only one of the six runs New York has scored so far in this series has been earned. Tampa Bay is throwing a bullpen day in this one, but it ranks sixth in team ERA in Major League Baseball – suggesting that it has the depth to work a bullpen day with success. The Rays have had no issue slowing down this high-powered Yankees offense, holding the Bronx Bombers. In their last meeting with Luis Severino, the Rays scratched across four runs. At +130 the price on an upset is a good one.

Brewers ML over Mets (+120)

After starting June on a rough 1-9 stretch, the Brewers picked up a big win over the Mets last night and have an opportunity to win the series this evening in New York. Left-hander Aaron Ashby has pitched well for the most part with Milwaukee in 2022. His 2.84 xERA is over a full run lower than his 3.91 ERA and he has been avoiding barrels most of the year, posting a 3.6 barrel percentage. Although the Mets have the second-best record in baseball, this could be a favorable matchup for Ashby because they do most of their damage against right-handed pitching. And New York has cooled off a bit of late. Its lead in the NL East is down to four games after it once led the defending World Series champion Braves by 11.5. Obviously that has a lot to do with Atlanta’s 14-game winning streak, but it has a little bit to do with the Mets. Look for the Brewers to ride the momentum from Wednesday’s 10-2 romp.

Mariners ML over Angels (+100)

The Angels’ season has gone from promising to a complete disaster in the matter of three weeks, as can often happen in a 162-game MLB season. A team that was closely competing with the Astros for first place in the AL West is now in third and 10.5 games back of the Astros. Shohei Ohtani is starting on Thursday and he has been unspectacular on the mound this season. The right-hander has struggled in two of his last three starts, allowing five home runs during this stretch. George Kirby is going for the Mariners. He has a 3.65 ERA and boasts a walke rate of just 2.6 percent. With Los Angeles’ offense a disappearing act at the moment, Kirby should be in line for a productive and victorious day at the office.
