The MLB season is officially underway and we have another great slate on Tuesday with a bunch of interesting matchups. And what better way to celebrate the new campaign than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay. We came super close to cashing Monday’s mega parlay at 14/1, but the Mets unfortunately decided to blow a 4-0 lead in the 8th inning. Now let’s finish the job on Tuesday.

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 (+146)

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+122)

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+115)

Parlay odds: +1074

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 (+146) over Cincinnati Reds

To say the Guardians are hot right now would be a massive understatement. And we’re taking them on the run line to start this mega parlay. Cleveland has put up a ridiculous 27 runs over the past 2 games, and they also have a big edge on the mound. They’ll start Shane Bieber, one of the best pitchers in the American League. In his first start of 2022, Bieber gave up only 3 hits and 1 run.

The offense is scorching, and rookie sensation Steven Kwan has somehow reached base in 15 of his 19 plate appearances. Cincy traded away Eugenio Suarez and Jesse Winker this offseason, signaling they view this as a rebuilding year. Tyler Mahle was a pleasant surprise last year, but he’s nowhere near as good as Bieber and had ERAs of 5+ in his only 2 full seasons before 2021.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+122) over Minnesota Twins

For the next leg of our parlay we’ve got the Dodgers on the run line. Now is a rare time to buy low on Los Angeles following back-to-back losses to the Rockies. There won’t be so many such opportunities this season. The Dodgers had the day off to regroup on Monday, and should come out with a renewed focus. Minnesota, on the other hand, had to play on Monday.

The Twins will start Chris Archer, and I doubt he has much left in the tank. His last full season was in 2019, when he had a 5.19 ERA in 23 starts. He then didn’t play at all in 2020 before compiling 5 mediocre starts last year. Against arguably the best offense in baseball, I’m not expecting much. The top 6 hitters in this Dodgers lineup are Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Trea Turner, Max Muncy, Justin Turner and Will Smith. That’s virtually impossible for any starter to slow down, yet alone Archer.

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+115) over Kansas City Royals

To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home we’ve got the Cardinals, also on the run line. Everyone was sleeping on this Cards team entering the year, and I couldn’t see why. I don’t get why they were such a big underdog behind the Brewers in the NL Central. It’s like everyone forgot that this team won 19 of their final 22 games to close last year. With Paul Goldschmidt, Tyler O’Neill and Nolan Arenado, they’ve got a very formidable heart of the order of their own. Not quite Dodgers-esque, but still elite.

The Royals have given up 27 runs across their last 2 games to Cleveland, and their pitching woes might not get any better with Daniel Lynch taking the hill. The southpaw had a 5.69 ERA and 1.63 ERA across 15 starts in his rookie season last year. On the flip side, St. Louis starter Dakota Hudson has a career 3.14 ERA across 250 major league innings.
