Monday 3-leg mega MLB parlay (+927 odds): Phillies can wax Nationals

Bryce Harper MLB parlay

Here’s a little rule I have for life — always have a parlay going. It’s crazy what having a parlay out there can do for your mindset. Especially on a Monday in August when there aren’t even 10 games to bet. We need all the help we can get this time of the year, people. The fun part about this one today is I think it wins. There is an angle on every one of these games that I love and when they’re strung together, they look magical. Feast your eyes on this MLB parlay.

If this MLB parlay hits, it will go down as a great day in gambling history. But don’t forget, we’ve also got picks on the side and total for all of today’s games.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+132)

New York Mets -1.5 (+120)

Seattle Mariners vs Tampa Bay Rays over 9 (-104)

Parlay odds: +927

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+132)

The Phillies just split a series with the Nationals last week but that was a different Nationals team. Gone are Trae Turner and Max Scherzer, with Juan Soto being the only real threat in the lineup now. Josiah Gray will start for Washington tonight and while I love him as a strikeout guy, he loves giving up runs. In two starts this season, Gray gave up at least two earned runs in each start. That doesn’t sound bad but he never made it out of the fourth inning in either start. I think the Phillies can smash the Nationals tonight and kick-start our MLB parlay.

New York Mets -1.5 (+120)

Javier Baez MLB parlay

The Mets were pretty active at the trade deadline with the biggest move being the acquisition of Javier Baez from the Chicago Cubs. Baez has already homered in his new uniform and I would think he can continue to drop bombs for the Mets. Some people are mad that they didn’t get more pitching at the deadline but that won’t matter today. Tylor Megill will be on the bump and he has been good lately. He’s been working into the sixth inning lately and if he does that tonight, we should be good. The Mets got smoked yesterday by the Cincinnati Reds but I would expect a bounce-back tonight. This bet fits nicely in the MLB parlay.

Seattle Mariners vs Tampa Bay Rays over 9 (-104)

Alright, here’s the deal. Chris Flexen takes the mound tonight for Seattle and I think he gets torched. His last two starts have not been good. He was lucky to give up only two runs to the Oakland Athletics on July 22 and he got demolished by the Houston Astros in his next action on July 27. He doesn’t strike anyone out, which is what the Rays do all the time. Tampa Bay has scored 33 runs in the last 4 games so they are definitely seeing the ball. The cherry on top is the fact that Michael Wacha is on the mound for the Rays. He’s always good for a few runs so there’s that too. I think both these teams will smash tonight and bring home our MLB parlay in the meantime.
