After just 1 game yesterday, the NBA returns with a hefty slate on Friday as 24 teams hit the hardwood. I’m focusing on the 2nd part of NBA TV’s doubleheader as the Chicago Bulls head to Phoenix to take on the Suns live at 10:00 pm ET.

Continue reading below to see my same game parlay, but also be sure to go through our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Friday’s 12-game slate.

Let’s dive in!

Zach LaVine 5+ made threes (+690)

Nikola Vucevic over 18.5 points (+100)

Parlay odds: +1416

Zach LaVine 5+ made threes (+690)

Last night, Saddiq Bey became the 8th player in the NBA this month to drop 50+ points. We’ve seen some incredible individual performances over the past couple of weeks. You know who else is capable of exploding like that? Zach LaVine. He is just coming off a 33-point performance in the loss at Utah where he made 5-of-10 attempts from three and against the Phoenix Suns earlier this season he had 32 points while shooting 57.1% from downtown.

The Suns are normally very good at defending the perimeter, but even they have slipped a bit over their last 3 games, allowing teams to shoot almost 39% from downtown. In their last game against Houston they allowed the Rockets to shoot 41%, so this is the perfect opportunity for LaVine to showcase his talent. He is one of those rare players who puts up better stats on the road than at home. Away from the United Center, he is shooting the three at a 40.5% clip compared to 38.4% at home. Here’s hoping he can deliver another big performance here.

Nikola Vucevic over 18.5 points (+100)

Vucevic didn’t have the best of games against Utah with just 10 points scored, but only because he had to go at Rudy Gobert the entire night. Thankfully the Suns don’t have such an interior presence, so I’m expecting Vucevic to return to his solid production here. Before the Utah game he had over 18.5 points in 5 straight and for the month of March he is averaging exactly 19 points per game. His shooting from the field is at 52% and he’s also making 1.3 threes per game on 3-of-10 attempts made. He and Deandre Ayton will trade blows down low and I’m confident the Bulls’ big man can have a solid offensive output here.
