We have a huge slate in the NBA today, with 12 interesting games. And what better way to celebrate the start of the new week than by going for a big payday on Monday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition.

I think it’s safe to say we’re on a roll with these right now. In fact, I’ve cashed this NBA mega parlay each of the last two times I’ve wrote it. First I hit it at +1157 on Friday, and then I hit it on Sunday night at +1048. I’m looking to hit it for a third straight time personally, and three out of four overall for us here at Pickswise.

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+210)

Los Angeles Clippers -2 (-110)

Utah Jazz -4.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1029

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+210) over Boston Celtics

I’m going to the first game of the slate for the first leg of our mega parlay. Starting things off bright and early with the Pelicans. Don’t look now, but New Orleans has actually been pretty decent lately. Their most recent loss was on the road against the Nets, and right before that they’d won back-to-back games against the Clippers and Timberwolves. The Pelicans’ last five losses have come to the Nets, Raptors (on the road by four points), Suns, Jazz and Bucks.

They’ve just been playing a really tough schedule recently, and have still managed to pick up some tough victories. The Celtics have as low of a floor as any ‘good’ team in the league, so they’re a prime target for money line upsets. Brandon Ingram is averaging 26.6 points and 6.6 assists over his last five games, and he’s really stepped up as a facilitator as his assist numbers continue to climb.

Los Angeles Clippers -2 (-110) over Indiana Pacers

Give me Los Angeles for our next parlay leg. The Clippers are shorthanded without Paul George right now, but thankfully they’ve gotten pretty much everybody else back now. Importantly, the Clips have played much better at home than on the road this season. And when you combine that with how bad the Pacers have been as visitors, I think there’s something here. Indiana is a respectable 12-12 at home, but they’re an abysmal 3-16 on the highway.

They’ve won one road game since November 11th, and are just 1-9 in their last 10 overall. The one win in that span came against a Jazz team missing Rudy Gobert and others. Los Angeles certainly isn’t in peak form, but they aren’t lifeless either. Even without George in the lineup, they’ve managed to go 2-0 in their last two at home against the Hawks and Nuggets.

Utah Jazz -4.5 (-110) over Los Angeles Lakers

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the Jazz in the nightcap. We had Utah as part of this mega parlay on Sunday, and they came through for us with a big win. And nothing feels better than fading the Lakers, right? The Lakers have been an absolute dumpster fire for much of this season, and they’re coming off back-to-back ugly losses to Denver and Sacramento. It’s been three defeats in a row overall. Utah had been struggling for a bit, but that was only because they got hit hard by COVID and the absence of Gobert tanked their defense.

Gobert is back now, and the Jazz promptly smacked the Nuggets by 23 on the road in his return. The same Nuggets team that just beat the Lakers by 37. It’s truly hilarious how poorly Los Angeles’ roster was crafted, and LeBron James can’t do it all by himself. Without Anthony Davis, this team just plain isn’t any good.
