After leading by as many as 19 points in Game 2, the Dallas Mavericks still couldn’t beat the Golden State Warriors and are now basically in a must-win situation at home. Game 3 starts at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday on TNT, I’ve prepared a same game parlay which you can find below.

Don’t forget you can check out all our NBA Playoffs coverage here.

Let’s get into tonight’s game!

Under 210.5 alt. total points (+190)

Jalen Brunson over 1.5 made threes (-122)

Jordan Poole to score 15+ points (-205)

Parlay odds: +919

Under 210.5 alt. total points (+190)

Putting up 117 points didn’t yield the result the Dallas Mavericks were hoping for in Game 2 and now it is time for them to revert to the style that worked for them in previous series and to slow things down. The Mavs are 5-1 in home games this season and the main reason for that success has been their defensive play at American Airlines Center. In the 6 games played there they allowed 100 points just twice, with the highest point total being in Game 2 of their series against Utah when the Jazz scored 104, and Dallas still won that game. The defending Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns scored under 100 points twice when playing in Dallas and their highest point total was just 101. The Warriors averaged just 97.5 points per game in 2 played in Dallas during the regular season and in one of those games they scored just 82 points. Look for Luka Doncic and co. to try to slow things down significantly tonight as that’s when they flourish the most on their home court.

Jalen Brunson over 1.5 made threes (-122)

We’ve seen this movie before. Luka Doncic cannot do it all by himself and Jalen Brunson’s contribution will be key tonight if Dallas wants to come back in this series. Looking at his shooting percentages, Brunson has been very solid against the Warriors as he scored on 37.5% of threes in the 4 regular-season meetings. So far in this series he’s averaging 2.5 made threes and he’s also scored over 1.5 threes in 2 of his last 3 outings. In Game 2 against the Jazz he erupted for 41 points and 6 threes made. I’m not saying we’ll see that kind of a performance tonight against the Warriors, but making 2 threes should be possible. He just had 31 points on the road and his team was right in it, so he knows exactly what needs to be done in order for Dallas to avoid going down 3-0 tonight.

Jordan Poole to score 15+ points (-205)

Jordan Poole has just been a joy to watch in these playoffs as he is contributing in almost every way possible. Right now he is tied with Klay Thompson in 2nd place for the highest points-per-game average in the postseason on the team, despite having started only 5 of 13 games. He’s shot the lights out in this series and is connecting on 52% of his field-goal attempts this postseason. The Warriors will need a strong presence off the bench tonight, he’s now scored over 15 points in consecutive games and against Dallas during the regular season he averaged 12.5 per game in 4 meetings. On the road he averaged 18.6 points per game in 38 outings, while at the American Airlines Center that number stands at 14.5 per game. With Dallas mainly focusing on slowing down Curry and Thompson, Poole will have a ton of space out there to assert himself so let’s hope he puts it to good use.
