The NBA week continues with a sizable 10-game slate on Wednesday. It is headlined by a double-header on ESPN that begins with the Milwaukee Bucks hosting the Brooklyn Nets before the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Denver Nuggets. The New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat are also taking the court.

Here is a look at today’s mega parlay.

Cavaliers -8 (-110)

Nets ML (+140)

Jazz -9.5 (+126)

Parlay odds: +935

For this 3-team parlay we are going with 1 underdog on the money line, 1 underdog against the spread and 1 favorite against an alternate spread. Let’s break down each of the plays.

Cleveland Cavaliers -8 over Orlando Magic (-110)

Paulo Banchero has been the best player on the floor for the Magic, but he is not getting much support. Bol Bol came off the bench to give Orlando 19 points during Monday’s 115-102 loss to New York, but it’s not like he is a reliable contributor – not at this point, at least. Jalen Suggs missed Monday’s contest and is questionable for this one. Since losing their opener against Toronto, the Cavs have won 2 in a row. Donovan Mitchell has done a great job as the lead ball-handler with Darius Garland sidelined and Cedi Osman is also stepping up in Garland’s absence (second on the team in scoring). There is a chance Garland returns tonight, but even if he doesn’t, Cleveland should be in fine shape against an 0-4 Orlando squad.

Brooklyn Nets ML over Milwaukee Bucks (+140)

The Nets need to improve defensively, which is no secret. In 3 games, they have already allowed opposing teams to score at least 130 points twice (Ja Morant and Desmond Bane of the Grizzlies went for 38 points apiece last game). There is some good news for Brooklyn in that Milwaukee is missing key pieces such as Joe Ingles, Khris Middleton and Pat Connaughton. Without Middleton, Ingles and Connaughton, the Bucks don’t have the type of firepower on the wing like the Grizzlies – meaning Giannis Antetokounmpo is their main source of offense.

Albeit in the preseason, Ben Simmons did a phenomenal job guarding the Greek Freak (24 points on 6-for-21 shooting from the field). As long as Simmons can stay out of foul trouble, he could be a big factor in this contest.

Utah Jazz -9.5 alternate spread over Houston Rockets (+126)

The Jazz may be in rebuilding mode, but they are off to a 3-1 start with impressive victories over tough opponents in the form of Denver, Minnesota and New Orleans (2 on the road, both in overtime). Houston is also a young team, but it is saddled with a 1-3 record to begin the season. Interestingly, however, the Rockets’ 1 win is over the Jazz and the Jazz’s 1 loss is to the Rockets. Now the scene shifts from Houston on Monday to Utah on Wednesday, where the Jazz will be eager to exact their revenge. During Monday’s 114-108 setback, the Jazz made 18 fewer free-throws than the Rockets, and attempted only half as many (16 to 32).

You can be almost positive that such a discrepancy won’t happen again; in fact, it may be reversed in Utah’s favor now that they are at home. Monday’s aberration notwithstanding, the Jazz are the better team and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win the rematch by double-digits.
