Why have only 1 Monday Night Football game when you can have 2? That is the question for the second week in a row in this NFL season. This Monday’s duo begins with the Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the Cincinnati Bengals host the Los Angeles Rams. The former has the makings of a lopsided matchup even though both teams are 2-0.

Will Philadelphia take care of business, or can a surprising Tampa Bay squad continue its early-season hot streak? Here is my Eagles vs Bucs Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which kicks off at 7:15 pm ET on ESPN. Also, be sure to check out our full Eagles vs Buccaneers predictions.

Eagles -9.5 alternate spread (+164)

AJ Brown to score a touchdown (+135)

Baker Mayfield to record 250+ passing yards (+164)

Same Game Parlay odds: +1331

One of the benefits of Same Game Parlays, of course, is that you can correlate all of the plays that are involved. That is some of the plan here, as AJ Brown scoring a touchdown would obviously work well with a Philadelphia win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Baker Mayfield to rack up his fair share of passing yards. But even if he does, there is no reason why the Eagles can’t win big. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Philadelphia Eagles -9.5 alternate spread over Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+164)

Not all 2-0 records are equal, and the Bucs will have to do a lot more than beat Minnesota and Chicago for me to believe that they are for real. The Bears are already in shambles and the Vikings are proving that last year’s regular season was a fraud. Tampa Bay has been decent defensively so far but is dealing with a lot of injuries on that side of the ball. DE Calijah Kancey is out, while nose tackle Vita Vea and defensive backs Carlton Davis III and Ryan Neal are all questionable. Philadelphia wasn’t entirely dominant in the first 2 weeks, but I can’t see a depleted Tampa Bay defense containing Jalen Hurts and company. The -4.5 spread in Philly’s favor is almost certainly too small; I wouldn’t be surprised if the margin is double-digits.

AJ Brown to score a touchdown (+135)

Devonta Smith has been doing most of the damage amongst the Eagles’ receiving corps through 2 games, and Brown is not too happy about his lack of production. I expect him to get involved in a big way this week. The Bucs have surrendered just 54.0 rushing yards per contest and only 1 touchdown on the ground so far this season. Through the air, however, they have given up an average of 248.5 yards to go along with 3 TDs. Brown found the endzone 11 times during the 2022 regular season and also scored in the Super Bowl. Not once in the entire year did he go 3 straight games without producing a TD. Brown is due; he will likely deliver.

We have a pair of Eagles vs Buccaneers touchdown scorer bets at +220 and +470 odds!

Baker Mayfield to record 250+ passing yards (+164)

This isn’t really a conflicting play, because if the Bucs are playing from behind then they will be more inclined to air it out early and often. That, of course, would lead to more yards for Mayfield. Philadelphia has allowed 326.0 passing yards per game even though it is limiting opponents to 6.9 yards per pass attempt. Teams are taking to the air against the Eagles, who were #1 in the entire league in rushing defense through the first 2 weeks. Mayfield is off to a solid start with his new squad, having thrown for 490 yards (317 last week) with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions.
