NFL teaser picks and parlay for Week 15: Packers can earn road win

Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers

One way to be profitable when betting on the NFL is with teasers. Points are so valuable in the NFL, and it often makes sense to tease a game if you can move a point spread through some key numbers. There are just a few weeks left in the regular season, so we only have a limited number of chances to capitalize.

This article will break down a few of the best teasers for Week 15’s slate, as well as a parlay that I think has a solid chance of hitting. NFL Teaser Week 15 – 2-team, 6-point (-120) *DraftKings

Green Bay Packers -1 (from -7)

Neither Aaron Rodgers nor Lamar Jackson appear to be 100% healthy, but the bigger concern seems to be with Jackson. He was knocked out of Baltimore’s loss at Cleveland on Sunday with an ankle injury, and has missed practice all week but “has a chance to play” against Green Bay. His backup, Tyler Huntley, did a solid job against the Browns, but I’ll still take Rodgers in this matchup. Even before leaving last week’s game with an injury, Lamar was not playing well. The Ravens’ overall performances have been lethargic in recent weeks, while the Packers offense has scored 36 and 45 points in their last 2 games. Teasing the Pack down to -1 makes some sense in this spot.

New England Patriots +9 (from +3)

It’s tough to bet against Bill Belichick when his team has won 7 straight games. In addition, he has had a ton of time to prepare for this one thanks to a Week 14 bye. Mac Jones is in fine form, as he has been picked off only twice in his last 7 games after throwing 6 interceptions during a 4-game stretch in September and October. Defensively, the Pats should be able to give Indy some problems. Star RB Jonathan Taylor has a tough assignment going up against a New England defense that leads the league in fewest rushing touchdowns allowed (6). I am expecting a tight game in this one, and teasing the Pats from +3 to +9 gets us through the key number of 7.

Chicago Bears +6 (-110)

I love a home dog in prime time, and the Bears could present some value in this matchup against the Vikings. One thing that stands out about this matchup is that the Vikings have played in 12 games this season that were decided by one possession. They are 6-7 on the year, and when they win they are not blowing opponents out of the water. Kirk Cousins’ struggles in prime time are widely known, and the Vikings have not done a great job of covering the spread against weaker opponents. Minnesota is 0-7 against the spread in their last 7 games against teams with a losing record. Give me the points with the Bears at home.

Houston Texans ML (+180)

If you like ugly football, this could be the game for you. It’s hard to fathom how the Jaguars can be laying points over anyone right now. The line continues to move in Jacksonville’s favor since Urban Meyer was fired (-3 to -5.5), and even though his departure may ease some tensions, the Jaguars are still tough to trust. Don’t get me wrong, the Texans aren’t great either, but they can beat the Jags. They already have, beating Jacksonville 37-21 in Week 1. A lot has changed since then, and both teams enter this matchup with identical 2-11 records. Houston QB Davis Mills is coming off a 331-yard effort during last week’s loss to Seattle, and he now prepares to face a bad Jacksonville defense. In a matchup between 2 bad teams, the value here is on the underdog.
