The Buffalo Bills look to bounce back after a tough loss last Sunday night to the Cincinnati Bengals. Josh Allen & Co welcome a Broncos team fresh off a bye week to upstate New York. Buffalo has been passing the ball roughly ~63% of the time, and Denver’s zone defense should give guys like Khalil Shakir and Gabe Davis more opportunities then what we’ve seen of late. The spread being over that magical 7 number doesn’t show much confidence in this Sean Payton led team coming out of the bye. Let’s see if we can find some angles in the player prop market.

Check out our Denver Broncos vs Buffalo Bills predictions

James Cook (BUF) over 18.5 receiving yards (-105)

Line available on BetMGM at the time of publishing.

Cook has a great schematic matchup this week against the Denver’s zone defense. Josh Allen does a great job taking what the defense gives him, leading to this 71% completion percentage this season. The Georgia product has hit this line in 5/9 games this season and the Broncos are bottom 5 in the NFL against running backs in terms of receptions, yards, and targets per game. This is a great spot for Cook and a 1U play from me. Play up to 19.5.

Russell Wilson (DEN) under 215.5 passing yards (-114)

Line available on BetMGM at the time of publishing.

I just can’t see Russ passing this on Monday night. He’s only hit this line against the worst pass defense in the NFL (WAS), a 50-point loss against against the Dolphins, and a shootout with the lowly Bears. I expect Payton to establish the run Monday and have some success doing it. This will keep Allen off the field and be far less reliant on Wilson to carry this team to victory. The Broncos RB duo should be fresh coming off the bye week and the way to beat this Bills defense is with a tight end, sadly Denver doesn’t have a top tier one to exploit this. I expect Jeudy and Sutton to struggle somewhat on the perimeter and not pick up yards in chunks. When in doubt, go with the under and this line ins 210.5 everywhere else. 1U
