MLB pick today: Chicago Cubs ML over St. Louis Cardinals (-126), 1:10 pm ET
The Cubs and Cardinals take the field at the stadium that hosted the 2012 Olympic Games in London on Saturday as part of the MLB World Tour. The London game is a popular one, and having a Cubs-Cardinals rivalry game there should be fun. Both teams come in playing well, as the Cubs are fresh off a sweep of the Pirates, and the Cardinals have won 4 of 5 coming into this one. They will play a pair in London. The last time London hosted games, the scores were high — not Mexico City high, but high.
Taking the mound are Adam Wainwright and Justin Steele, which should be a huge advantage for the Cubs, so long as Steele doesn’t turn out to be nervous on the international stage. We know Wainwright won’t be nervous, as he has pitched on every kind of stage imaginable, but at 41 years old, there just isn’t much left in the tank. His ERA is creeping close to 6.00, and he is going to throw around 5 innings and give up several runs in the process. Steele has the advantage of being a groundball pitcher, which should mitigate most of the effects of the stadium.

MLS pick today: New England Revolution ML over Toronto FC (-175), 7:30 pm ET
Toronto became the latest MLS club to feel the wrath of FC Cincinnati in a 3-0 defeat last time out and the Canadian club has now gone 4 games without a win. They should be in for a tough night against the New England Revolution, who are coming off wins against Inter Miami and Orlando in their last two games.

MLS pick today: Chicago Fire vs Sporting Kansas City – Both teams to score – Yes (-156), 8:30 pm ET
Sporting Kansas City has provided plenty of entertainment in MLS action of late, with each of its last 6 games seeing goals scored by both teams. Seven of Kansas City’s last 9 MLS games have featured 3 or more goals, therefore we expect both teams to find the net tonight.

CONCACAF Gold Cup pick today: USA ML over Jamaica (-145), 9:30 pm ET
It’s a very different USMNT that will begin the CONCACAF Gold Cup against Jamaica tonight as only 5 players from the successful Nations League squad are also in action in this tournament.
Jamaica should be the second-strongest team in the group, but this US team should still be good enough for this mission as Jamaica is winless in 10 games and has lost 5 of those games to low-ranked opposition such as Jordan and Trinidad & Tobago. Given the poor form from Jamaica and the confidence surrounding Team USA, backing them to open the Gold Cup with a win will be our play.
