We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday, including picks from the MLS, MLB, college football and NHL. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +997 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

MLS pick today: Nashville SC +0.5 over Los Angeles Galaxy (-110), 3:00 pm ET

Head-to-head this year, the Galaxy won the season series, going 1-0-1. The Galaxy are undefeated in their last 7 home matches although Nashville is undefeated in 5 away games, so something has to give. This is a playoff fixture and with Nashville’s tough defense, it’s not likely to be a high-scoring fixture. Nashville has collected at least a point in 71% of away matches this year, so take Nashville to win or tie on the double chance.

MLB pick today: Houston Astros ML over Seattle Mariners (-120), 4:07 pm ET

In a win-or-go-home game, the Mariners have elected to start the rookie, George Kirby. Kirby was promoted from Triple-A in May and had a solid rookie campaign, as he posted an ERA of 3.39 in 130 innings. Kirby has become known for his control as he once threw 24 consecutive strikes in a start this season and has a walk rate of just 4.1%, less than half the MLB average. In 13 starts at home, Kirby allowed opponents to hit .272 with a .707 OPS, as his one major flaw is that he is prone to being hittable.

Lance McCullers Jr. suffered an injury in the 2021 postseason that ended his season and even sidelined him for the majority of the 2022 season. However, the righty made his return in August and was excellent in his 8 starts, as he posted an ERA of 2.27 in 47.2 innings. He will likely give up a run or two as the Mariners will want to put on a show in their first playoff baseball game in Seattle in over 20 years, but it likely won’t be enough to extend the series. The Houston offense showed they could hit Logan Gilbert and Luis Castillo, so facing a pitcher that is much more hittable like Kirby favors the Astros. Houston should knock around the rookie and send themselves to the ALCS with a win on Saturday.

NHL pick today: Pittsburgh Penguins ML over Tampa Bay Lightning (-165), 7:00 pm ET

After beating up the Coyotes 6-2 on Thursday and putting up 53 shots on goal, Sidney Crosby and the Penguins will turn their attention to the 3-time defending eastern conference champion Lightning. The Penguins have two main advantages in this game, the first is they are at home and the second is they are well rested compared to the Lightning who had to play last night in Columbus. That likely means they won’t have to go up against star goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy and that is a huge bonus. Pittsburgh was also one of the best teams at home last season going 23-13-5 at PPG Paints arena, so for that reason, backing them to win tonight will be the play.

College Football pick today: USC Trojans +3.5 over Utah Utes (-105), 8:30 pm ET

The USC Trojans have been one of college football’s pleasant surprises this year as Lincoln Riley and quarterback Caleb Williams have turned the Pac-12 on its side with their strong start to the season. Utah lost their second game overall and their first conference game last week at UCLA, but USC won convincingly over Washington State. The Trojans offense is top 25 overall, top 20 in yards per play, and top 10 in scoring. Their defense is much improved over last year, and they have a clear path to the Pac-12 title game and the College Football Playoff, therefore backing the Trojans to cover will be the play.
