Following a long and grueling season, the NFL playoffs are finally here. Super Wild Card Weekend gets underway on Saturday with a a pair of games in the AFC playoffs, as the Cleveland Browns take on the Houston Texas while arguably the most intriguing game of the day pits the Miami Dolphins against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Pickswise team has been absolutely on fire with their touchdown scorer prop picks throughout this 2023 NFL campaign, so let’s keep the momentum going! Here are my best TD scorer bets for Saturday’s slate, and also be sure to check out our full NFL predictions for all of the Wild Card Weekend action

Isiah Pacheco, RB, KC (+100 at PointsBet)

One of the biggest storylines of the entire weekend is going to be the weather in Kansas City for this hotly anticipated clash between the Dolphins and Chiefs. At the time of writing, temperatures are expected to be near zero and northwest winds will send the wind chill well below zero. And when the conditions take a turn for the worse, running the ball becomes the preferred option for teams that can generate success on the ground. In this case, a healthy helping of Isiah Pacheco out of the backfield could be the perfect tonic for a Chiefs offense that has struggled mightily with inconsistency in the passing game all season long. It also helps that the Dolphins defense is depleted with injuries, including massive losses in the front 7. All signs point to Pacheco getting 20+ carries in this game, so any touchdown scorer prop at plus money is too good to pass up.

David Njoku, TE, HOU (+185 at FanDuel)

I think we have really good conditions for an over in Saturday’s first game between the Browns and the Texans. Therefore, I don’t mind firing on a little bit of a longer shot within the Browns offense. Both Jerome Ford and Amari Cooper have better odds to score a touchdown in this one, but David Njoku has quietly been putting up terrific numbers over the last month of the season with Joe Flacco at the helm of Cleveland’s offense. The tight end has recorded a whopping 28 receptions for 373 yards and 4 touchdowns since December 10, a stretch that included a 6 catches and a touchdown in a meeting with the Texans just 3 weeks ago. With Houston likely focused on the Flacco-Cooper connection (Cooper racked up more than 200 receiving yards in the previous meeting), this should leave Njoku with plenty of favorable matchups throughout the game. Let’s bank on Flacco finding his tight end around the goal line.
