Following a long and grueling season, the NFL playoffs are finally here. Super Wild Card Weekend gets underway on Saturday with a a pair of games in the AFC playoffs, as the Cleveland Browns take on the Houston Texas while arguably the most intriguing game of the day pits the Miami Dolphins against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Pickswise team has been absolutely on fire with their touchdown scorer prop picks throughout this 2023 NFL campaign, so let’s keep the momentum going! Here are my best TD scorer bets for Saturday’s slate, and also be sure to check out our full NFL predictions for all of the Wild Card Weekend action

Cooper Kupp, WR, LA (+125 at FanDuel)

One of the biggest storylines of the entire weekend is Matthew Stafford’s return to Detroit for a date with the Lions. As it happens, the Los Angeles Rams have been playing like one of the best teams in the NFC over the second half of the season, led by the combination of Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp. This is one of the best QB-WR tandems in football, and it’s no shock that Kupp has 34 receptions and 4 touchdowns over the last 5 games. I expect more of the same from the top Rams wideout on Sunday against a Lions defense that leaves a lot to be desired against the pass. I fully expect Stafford and Kupp to excel on the biggest stage, something we saw often in the postseason 2 years ago. It’s rare that we get a plus money price on Kupp for such a favorable matchup, so let’s take advantage.

Brandin Cooks, WR, DAL (+225 at FanDuel)

I think we have really good conditions for an over in Sunday’s first game between the Packers and Cowboys. Therefore, I don’t mind looking a little further down the odds board for some extra value in the touchdown scorer market. And while I’ve been targeting CeeDee Lamb seemingly each week for the last 2 months, the value on his touchdown prop is lost at the current number. Let’s take a shot with Brandin Cooks this week, who has solid odds considering when he does get targeted, it’s typically around the end zone. Cooks surprisingly has 8 touchdowns on the season, with 5 of those scores coming over the past 7 weeks. The #2 wideout for Dallas closed the campaign with 13 receptions and 3 touchdowns over the final 3 games, which gives me confidence in his connection with Dak Prescott heading into the postseason. It’s hard to turn down over 2-1 odds given what we’ve seen of late, so let’s get to the window with Cooks on Sunday.
