We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including picks from the NFL, MLB and Europa League. One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from Major League Baseball. A winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +1138 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

Europa League pick today: Sheriff Tiraspol vs Manchester United – Under 2.5 goals (+130), 12:45 pm ET

Manchester United’s renaissance under Erik ten Hag came crashing back down to earth when they lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad last Thursday and Sheriff could also make life tough for the Red Devils in the second week of Europa League action.

The Moldovan team, who reached the Champions League group stage last season, got off to a flyer with a 3-0 win over Omonia Nicosia last week and it would be no surprise if they attempted to defend tightly when United visit. Take under 2.5 goals at nice plus-money odds.

MLB pick today: Chicago White Sox ML vs Cleveland Guardians (-155), 1:10 pm ET

Since the all-star break, Lance Lynn has completely turned his season around as he’s posted a 5-2 record with an ERA of 2.05 in 10 starts. He’s faced the Guardians twice in the second half of the season and has been excellent in both outings as he’s allowed 1 run and 8 hits to go along with 12 strikeouts in 11.2 innings. Lynn has yet to allow a run in 13 innings in September thus far, so he’s coming into this matchup with all the momentum.

Hunter Gaddis has gone from Double-A to Triple-A to the majors so far this season. He’s been decent in the Minors this season, but in his one MLB start which was his MLB debut, he was shelled by the Astros for 8 runs and 7 hits including 2 home runs in 3.1 innings. The Guardians have won 6 games in a row, but that streak should be snapped on Thursday as Gaddis is heavily outmatched by Lynn. Back the White Sox on the money line.

MLB pick today: Houston Astros -1.5 over Oakland Athletics (-140), 7:20 pm ET

In his 2nd full season of action with the A’s, James Kaprielian has been less than impressive through 22 starts, pitching to an ERA of 4.79. On top of that, Kaprielian is coming off a rough month of August in which his ERA was 5.59 and tonight will be his 1st Major League start since August 31 after being placed on assignment.

Meanwhile, Lance McCullers Jr. appears to be just fine after a couple of starts for Houston and was stretched out to 7.0 innings in his last outing against the Angels, allowing just 2 earned runs on 4 hits. McCullers is a great addition to an already solid rotation and tonight should be a great opportunity for him to stretch things out beyond the 6th inning again against a below average A’s lineup. Back the Astros on the run line tonight given the advantage they have with McCullers on the rubber.

NFL pick today: Los Angeles Chargers +4 vs Kansas City Chiefs (-110), 8:15 pm ET

Since 2010, teams coming off a blowout win (as defined by 21 points or more ) in Week 1 — like the Chiefs — have gone 7-19 ATS (27%) the following week. Last year this trend produced a 3-0 record if you faded the teams who won their opener in a blowout. Also, just blindly betting underdogs in Week 2 has historically been profitable, as they are covering at a 54.3% clip since 2005. Justin Herbert in general has been excellent as an underdog in his career, posting a 5-1 ATS record as a ‘dog of more than 3 points, so for that reason, backing the Chargers to keep this game within a field goal looks to be worth a play.
