We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including picks from the NFL, NHL, College Basketball, and World Cup. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +799 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

World Cup pick today: Germany Win in a Shutout over Costa Rica (-250), 2:00 pm ET

Germany was undone by Japan in its opening Group E contest, but looked far better when tying 1-1 with Spain last time out and that was a game they could have won. Jamal Musiala, Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry all looked lively in forward positions for the Germans, who really should dominate this contest.

On the other side, Costa Rica recovered from a 7-0 hammering by Spain to beat Japan and keep their dreams of progressing to the next stage alive. The Ticos have recorded just 1 shot on target in 2 contests however, so it’s hard to see how Costa Rica will be able to withstand what is likely going to be relentless German pressure. Because Costa Rica have offered little offensively in 2 games, backing Germany to win in a shutout will be the play.

NHL pick today: Colorado Avalanche 3-Way ML over Buffalo Sabres (-125), 7:00 pm ET

The Avs will get to take on a Sabres team that is on the second night of a back-to-back. They will have just played the Red Wings in Detroit the night prior, which sets up nicely for a Colorado squad likely eager to find the back of the net.

The Sabres are allowing the 6th-most goals per game in the NHL and the 8th-most goals per game on home ice, which sets up nicely for Nathan MacKinnon and company. Let’s also not forget that prior to the loss against the Jets, Colorado defeated the Dallas Stars in 2 of the previous 3 games, the team that is leading the Central Division. There’s no denying that the Sabres have improved offensively behind Tage Thompson this season, but they still aren’t as talented as the Avs. Their second-to-last place in the Atlantic Division proves that, therefore Colorado will be the play.

College Basketball pick today: UConn Huskies -8.5 over Oklahoma State Cowboys (-110), 7:00 pm ET

Oklahoma State returns several veteran players, giving them some stability on the floor. The man in the middle, Moussa Cisse, has been a force so far, and the 7-footer is going to be a double-double machine all season long. He will face no tougher task all season, however, than dealing with UConn’s big man, Adama Sanogo.

The weakness for Oklahoma State is their 3-point shooting, and thus they rarely attempt many. That’s going to be a problem against a fierce UConn defense that forces the ball further away from the basket than teams want it to be. UConn also comes into the game as one the deepest and most versatile teams in the country, able to beat you in a number of ways. Because of the balance UConn has shown, backing them to win and cover will be the play.

NFL pick today: Buffalo Bills -3.5 over New England Patriots (-110), 8:15 pm ET

The Bills come into this game having not covered in 5 straight. They did get a bit unlucky in not covering against Cleveland when the Browns scored on a meaningless final drive and then against Minnesota when the Vikings posted an incredible 4th-quarter comeback.

Let’s be honest; the Bills lines have been a bit inflated in general leading to this streak but this is the game where the market has overreacted in the opposite direction. We also have zero proof that Bill Belichick can slow down Josh Allen and the Bills. If you exclude that extremely fluky hurricane level wind game from last season where the Bills were handcuffed on offense, the Bills have beaten New England by 30, 12, 29 points since late in 2020. Because of the recent dominance the Bills have shown against the Patriots recently, backing Buffalo to win and cover will be the play.
