We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Tuesday, including picks from the Champions League, NHL, and NBA. One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +1254 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Champions League pick today: Benfica ML over Juventus (+110), 3:00 pm ET

Juventus is on the verge of an early exit from the Champions League after a surprise loss to Maccabi Haifa on matchday 4, and Benfica looks set to seal the Italians’ fate on Tuesday.

Confidence in the Benfica camp was boosted by a 1-0 win at Portuguese title rival Porto at the weekend and Roger Schmidt’s team has taken 28 points from a possible 30 in Portugal this season. Juventus is traveling without 7 injured first-team players and Benfica should take full advantage.

NHL pick today: Detroit Red Wings ML over New Jersey Devils (-110), 7:00 pm ET

We’re just a couple of weeks into the new NHL season, and the Red Wings have already cashed 2 best bets for us. It seems like they could continue to be a cash cow this season until oddsmakers catch on to the improvements they made during the offseason. They’re off to a 3-0-2 start to the season, and the 2 overtime losses were certainly ones Detroit could have pulled out in the end. One of their 3 wins came against the Devils too, when they beat them 5-2 in New Jersey.

This is a great price for a team who has been at home all weekend and recently smashed the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. For that reason, backing the Red Wings looks to be the best option.

NBA pick today: Detroit Pistons +5.5 over Washington Wizards (-110), 7:10 pm ET

Washington is the favorite at home. That makes sense, but I am not sure that they are the better team, just more experienced. That definitely helps matters but even though they have lost a couple of games, I like what I am seeing from Detroit so far. I think we are getting the Pistons at a nice price on the road and do not want to miss the opportunity. This is a team they can match up well with, therefore backing the Pistons to cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Tampa Bay Lightning ML over Los Angeles Kings (-130), 10:35 pm ET

The Tampa Bay Lightning start a 3-game California road trip when they play the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night. The Lighting will look to add to their winning streak, as they’ve won their last two games heading into this contest.

Defensively, the advantage goes to the Lightning based on goaltending. I would rather take projected starter Andrei Vasilevskiy from the Lightning, who ranks 11th in goals saved above expected, over projected starter for the Kings, Jonathan Quick, who ranks 52nd in the same category. For that reason, backing the Lightning will be the play.
