About Last Night

Bengals’ Halloween horror show on MNF
AFC champions the Cincinnati Bengals endured a nightmare on Monday Night Football, suffering a 32-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns. It was a great result for the Browns, who climbed to 3-5, and also for Pickswise as Clevta’s picks went 2-0 on Browns +3.5 and Nick Chubb anytime TD, and we cashed both our TD scorer picks plus TWO same game parlays: this one at +501 and a +1171 parlay on the game preview! The Ravens are now -320 odds favorites for the AFC North with FanDuel Sportsbook, with the Bengals at +370 and the Browns at +1400.

Bucks go 6-0
The Milwaukee Bucks remain the only unbeaten team in the NBA, although they were not even close to covering as 13-point favorites in a 110-108 win over the Pistons. The Rockets suffered a 6th road defeat at the Clippers, but covered comfortably as 9.5-point underdogs. The Raptors were the easiest winners of the night, beating the Hawks by 30.

Hurricanes win shootout
It was a small 3-game NHL slate on Monday but there was plenty of action, with the Sabres beating the Red Wings 8-3, the Hurricanes winning a shootout against the Capitals and the Kings slamming the Blues 5-1 after a 4-goal second period.

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: Calgary Flames 3-way ML over Seattle Kraken
9:00 pm ET, ESPN+

Calgary won all 4 meetings against Seattle last season, with 3 of those coming by multiple goals. Both of their home games against them were multiple-goal wins, and the Flames have proved their new-look roster can be just as potent. They essentially swapped out Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk for Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri, both of whom have fit in perfectly already. Kadri leads the team with 9 points and brings Stanley Cup experience to the team after winning it with the Colorado Avalanche last season. The Flames torched the Kraken with a 3-goal win at the end of the preseason and can do the same in their first regular season meeting. Read our full Kraken vs Flames predictions.
