Final day of the NBA regular season…. Final round of the Masters….  We also have plenty of hockey games and there is some soccer action in both the English Premier League and Major League Soccer. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s not waste any time and get right to making your next bet better. Here is our latest installment of Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Scheffler leads the Masters by 3
Second-round leader Scottie Scheffler produced one of the best rounds on Saturday at 1-under 71, but his lead still shrunk to 3 because Cam Smith went even lower (4-under 68). That should make for an interesting Sunday. As for our Masters bets, we compiled a 3-0 record on Saturday as Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood all won their 2-ball matchups.

Morant returns, Grizzlies dominate
The Grizzlies made one more statement in advance of the playoffs when Ja Morant returned from a brief injury absence and they destroyed the Pelicans 141-114 on Saturday. Memphis is the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, while Golden State beat San Antonio 100-94 to strengthen its hold on No. 3.

NHL mega parlay cashes with 1 second left
Our +1119 mega parlay on the ice was a dramatic winner when the Canucks lit the lamp on an empty net with 1 second left in the game to cover a -1.5 puck line by beating San Jose 4-2.

Today’s Slate

Everyone in action for NBA regular-season finale
A maximum-sized 15-game schedule caps off the 2021-22 NBA regular season with all 30 teams taking the court. It includes a TNT double-header that starts with Memphis hosting Boston before Golden State visits New Orleans. Head over to our NBA picks page to see all of our previews and predictions.

NHL also has a TNT double-header
It’s a day of nonstop sports on TNT, because prior to the NBA’s twin bill the NHL also has one. Boston-Washington gets things started at 1:30 pm and then Nashville and Pittsburgh will see the puck drop at 4:00 pm. You can find all of our hockey coverage on the NHL page.

Red Sox-Yankees is the Sunday Night Game of the Week
The first weekend of the 2022 Major League Baseball season wraps up in style with the Red Sox and Yankees battling in the Bronx. New York is going for a 3-game sweep. Check out all of our MLB previews for the full 15-game slate.

Best Bet of the Day

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 over Buffalo Sabres
5:00 pm ET, ESPN+

Following Friday night’s overtime setback against the Bruins, the Lightning are now on a 4-game losing streak. But 3 of those losses have come at the hands of stiff competition and welcoming Buffalo to town should be a much different story. The Sabres are eliminated from postseason contention, whereas the Bolts are fighting for improved playoff seeding. Tampa Bay won the most recent head-to-head meeting 6-1, which is all the more reason to feel good about this pick. Read our full preview for Sabres-Lightning preview.

Stat of the Day

The Lakers are 0-5 SU in their last 5 road games and also 0-5 SU in their last 5 against the Western Conference. Additionally, they are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 overall. That doesn’t bode well for L.A.’s chances at Denver as it comes the merciful end of a disastrous season.
