Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season continues with Sunday Night Football between the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in K.C. The Chiefs are looking to stay undefeated on the heels of a 31-10 Monday night beatdown of the Broncos. It was a much different story for the Colts, who got blown out at home by the Ravens 41-23.

Here is my Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which get underway at 8:20 pm ET on NBC. Also be sure to check out our full Colts vs Chiefs predictions

Chiefs -6.5 (-120)

Patrick Mahomes Over 220.5 passing yards (-113)

Jonathan Taylor Over 84.5 rushing yards (-114)

Parlay odds: +750

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing for his fair share of yards would obviously work well with a Chiefs win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor to have a big night on the ground. But even he does, there is no reason why the home team can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs.

Chiefs -6.5 (-120)

For Kansas City, Week 1 – and Mahomes’ comeback from last year’s torn ACL – could not have gone much better. Head coach Andy Reid’s team thumped Denver by three touchdowns and Mahomes looked pretty close to his former MVP-winning and Super Bowl-winning self. Additionally, reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III went crazy in his Chiefs debut. KW3 amassed 191 yards from scrimmage (173 rushing) and two touchdowns on Monday night. Undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson accounted himself extremely well at left tackle in place of injured starter Josh Simmons (back), who remains questionable for Sunday. Good luck to the Colts containing Mahomes and company following their dismal performance against the Ravens in Week 1. Baltimore churned out 506 total yards of offense on 7.9 yards per play, as Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry did basically whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. On the other side of the ball, QB Daniel Jones was playing for the first time since suffering a torn Achilles’ in Week 14 of the 2025 campaign. Jones passed for just 166 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Patrick Mahomes Over 220.5 passing yards (-113)

As he continues to get games under his belt on the heels of his comeback from injury, Mahomes should only get better and better as the season progresses. And the former Texas Tech star was already quite good in game one, throwing for 184 yards and two touchdowns against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Now he gets to face an Indianapolis outfit that just let Jackson complete 17 of 25 attempts for 324 yards. When these two AFC rivals met in Week 12 of last season (also at Arrowhead Stadium), Mahomes went 29-of-46 for 352 yards.

Jonathan Taylor Over 84.5 rushing yards (-114)

Indianapolis’ best defense against Kansas City is probably this simple: keep Mahomes and company off the field for as long as possible. To accomplish that effort, of course, the Colts must control the clock by running the football. That means Taylor should receive a steady diet of handoffs. The Wisconsin product got 19 carries in the season opener against the Ravens even though his team was playing from behind basically the entire game. He should get even more on Sunday and will likely parlay those chances into plenty of yards. Taylor produced 98 rushing yards at Baltimore’s expense, so asking for at least 85 in this spot should not be too much.
