NFL Week 3 player prop: Emmett Johnson (KC) over 27.5 rushing yards in Chiefs vs Dolphins (-115)

Just two weeks into his pro career, Emmett Johnson has slowly earned the trust of Head Coach Any Reid. With Kenneth Walker III carrying the ball 47 times through two games, Johnson could have a bigger role come Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins, where the Chiefs are 10-point road favorites. Johnson carried the ball 8 times in his NFL debut, and followed that up with 4 total touches in Week 2 for 35 yards.

Off an OT win last week and a short week before that, Johnson has an opportunity to give his running back mate Walker a breather in what is likely a positive game script.

NFL Week 3 player prop: Drake Maye (NE) over 5.5 rush attempts in Patriots vs Jaguars (-115)

It's been a subpar start for MVP runner-up Drake Maye through his first two weeks of his 3rd NFL season. Last week's game against the Steelers went much better than his season opener against the Seahawks. The Patriots returned TreVeyon Henderson to the lineup, and he was instant offense, breaking off a 39-yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter. But against the Jacksonville Jaguars as 3-point road underdogs, the Patriots may lean on Maye to deliver with his legs, especially with uncertain weapons on the outside.

Bet365 is hanging a -115 price on Maye over 5.5 rush attempts, while the rest of the market is settling in at -140.

NFL Week 3 player prop: Rashod Bateman (BAL) over 44.5 receiving yards in Ravens vs Cowboys (-115)

CeeDee Lamb and the Cowboys were embarrassed on Sunday Night Football by a Giants team that held the ball for over 36 minutes. The defense failed to get off the field in the second half, limiting the Cowboys' offense to just two offensive possessions - both leading to touchdowns. Lamb was relatively held in check, reeling in five catches, including a touchdown. Sunday should be much brighter for a Cowboys team against the Commanders that has an implied team total of 27 points - the third most of any team that has yet to play. Look for Dak Prescott to look Lamb's way often and build on his team-leading target share from Week 1.
